Chapter Sixteen

       You were about to walk into the cafeteria when Seonghwa appeared and grabbed your wrist. He smiled sweetly at you as he ruffled your hair. You whined softly as you fixed it and looked up to him questioningly. However you couldn't deny the fluttering of your heart. He simply started to drag you away. You followed him without complaint as he walked out the school, but you were curious.

    "Where are we going?" You finally asked. Seonghwa however shook his head, the grin never leaving his face as he dragged you towards his destination. You shrugged and let it happen. Eventually though you became excited when you saw the location.

    "Ice cream!" You screamed, people gave you weird looks but you didn't care as you bounced around. You shook Seonghwa's arm excitedly as you walked up to the counter.

    "Hello, what can I get you guys?" The young man behind the counter asks. You notice the way his eyes lingered on you before looking towards Seonghwa. The male behind the counter was attractive. He had silver hair, cat like wide eyes, and a pointed smile. His nose was slim, he had slight dimples, along with a sharp jawline.

     "Ah, hello Taehyun. I'd like just a regular waffle cone with two scoops of cookies 'n cream please." You say with a smile, having read his name tag to be polite. However you didn't see the way Seonghwa's jaw clenched at the way you smiled towards Taehyun.

    "I'll get a waffle cone with two scoops with one chocolate and one vanilla." Seonghwa muttered out. You were confused by his now fowl mood but urged him to find a seat while you waited on your ice creams. He nodded and went to look for the seats as you waited.

    "So, how old are you?" Taehyun asked as he started on Seonghwa's cone.

    "Oh, I'm 17. How old are you?" You asked. You wondered if he goes to your school.

    "Oh cool, I'm 17 too!" He smiled. You nodded as you grabbed Seonghwa's cone from him.

    "What school do you go to?" He asked as he started on your cone.

   "Oh I go to KQ High School." You responded politely. He froze in the middle of handing you your ice cream.

   "Oh...I do too. I knew you looked familiar!" He said as you took the cone, you tilted your head in confusion.

   "Ah you looked familiar when I saw you, and I knew who Seonghwa was already." He explains. You nod in understanding.

   "Wait we're just here on lunch break? Why aren't you at school?" You wonder allowed. It had hit you that he said he goes to your school but yet here he was in the midst of his explanation.

   "Oh. A coworker called out so I had to come in for them." You nod and wave goodbye a bit before going to Seonghwa.

   "Hey, here's your ice cream Hwa." You smile softly as you sit next to him. He smiles slightly and you frown at his now tense facial features.

    "Are you okay?" You ask.

   "Yeah, I'm fine. Let's get some napkins and head back, okay?" He says. You nod and wait by the door as he grabs some napkins. Once he comes back you wrap one around your cone. He smiles a bit more at how excited you are as you eat your ice cream.

     You guys were now done with your cones and halfway back to school. As you were looking around someone bumped their shoulder into yours causing you to stumble back. Seonghwa caught you and when you looked up to tell him thank you, he looked ready to kill as he once smiling face turned blank and his eyes hardened. He gently let go of you and marched up to the man that bumped you. He grabbed the man's shoulder and yanked him around.
