After the movie had ended you just listened to the boys talk. You were dozing off as you listened to their soft chatter. They were talking about childhood memories they had, and one that Seonghwa shared immediately struck you.

"HongJoong and I would go to the park as kids, one day we found a little girl crying. We became close after that night, sometimes she would com to the park all bruised up. So we'd try to help her and bandage her up. She stopped coming by randomly one day after we hung out." He said. You looked up to HongJoong who felt you tense, he gave you a confused look as you sat up.

"Wait." You whispered. HongJoong looked increasingly concerned as he looked down at you. The others noticed and looked over to you two. Your eyebrows were furrowed as you stared at the ground.

    "What's wrong, baby?" Yunho asked.

"How long ago was that?" You questioned, ignoring Yunho's question.

"Uh, 10 years now." HongJoong answers. You look up at him with wide eyes before looking over to Seonghwa. You could see it, the way they looked like the boys you had met all those years ago.

"I met you two before my first day at school!" You say, excited to finally know the identity of the two boys that showed you a comfort you had previously never felt before.

"Wait, were you the little girl Seonghwa Hyung was talking about?" San questioned. You nodded immediately, your eyes flickering between the HongJoong and Seonghwa. Your mouth was slightly agape. Your heart felt like it was going to burst in that moment. Yeosang noticed your shaking hands and worry settled into his facial features.

"Are you okay bub? Your hands are shaking." Yeosang points out softly.

"I-I'm fine. Just, before I had met you two when I was seven I hadn't known comfort or safety. It was the first time I had learned that the way my parents treated me wasn't right." You softly explained as tears filled your eyes.

"Why did you disappear after that night?" Seonghwa questioned. It had haunted him since that day to think what had happened to that little girl.

"My dad was waiting for me on my bed that night, when I was climbing back into my window he saw me. I was sent to live with my grandmother. I went to a vampire academy for the wealthy until she passed away. My parents couldn't ship me off again or they'd look bad. So after ten years I came back to my home town." You explain. You shrugged before continuing. "If it were up to my parents I would still be finishing school at the academy then shipped off to a out of country college to study to take over my father business."

"Wait, your dad is genuinely a rich businessman? Why did you live in such a small town and house then?" Mingi questions.

"It was the house my grandmother gifted my mother when she turned 18 and met my father. It's supposed to be passed down to me but I want nothing to do with my parents. They'd likely try to marry me off or they're glad I'm gone and won't look for me." You shrug. It was normal for you, you were a descendant of wealthy vampires and powerful witches. Your whole life has been filled with being proper and ready to be married off.

"Wait- why wouldn't they look for you? You're their heiress so surely they'd try to find you?" Jongho points out, his face adorably showing his confusion as he pouts ever so slightly. You can't stop the giggle that bubbles from your lips.

"Jongho, my love, my parents only had me to save face with my grandparents who kept pestering them about grandkids. My fathers side has nothing to do with me. I was to be married off to some old hag no matter what and the company would go to him. I'm a half breed, I have no standing in our society. Vampire or not, from a rich status or not. They can lie and say I ran away because I got knocked up or they'll claim they don't know what happened. Either way I won't be looked for. My dad can find a young gentleman to be his successor from his company but since I was a child I've refused an arranged marriage." You shrug. They looked upset at the thought of you being with anyone but them and you giggled.

"Relax, no vampire would wanna marry me. I honestly expected to end up alone. Aside from my ex, I've never been in a relationship. And even with Hyeseong it was a secret." You explain. HongJoong's hands tighten on your waist and you look up at him.

"Well this blood demon would love to marry you some day. My family is rich too, so I understand where you're coming from. My older brother is the successor though so I didn't have as many pressures." HongJoong says. You giggle as he kisses all over your face as you turn to straddle his hips and grab his face gently.

You smiled widely as you allowed yourself a second to mumble a protection spell. However right after you giggled as a you allowed your powers to surge, a blue mist spreading from your fingers. The mist filled the room, softly floating around and lighting up the dim room. It almost looked as though little stars were floating around.

You watched as they all looked around amazed. You however simply watched as the blue settled over them ever so gently. You sat back a bit and looked over to HongJoong who was watching you closely.

"Werent your powers green last time in the park?" He asks. This catches the others attention as the mist disappears. You nod immediately.

"Yes. When I use green witch rituals it does turn green. I had to tap into it due to Wooyoung and Yeosang being Faeries. But what I just did was a simple protection spell anyone can use. My natural powers are the electric blue you just witnessed. I inherited it from my grandmother." You smiled softly. Their eyes widened when you had said what you did.

"Why'd you put one on us?" Seonghwa spoke up.

"It's how witches show they care. We use protection spells. I don't tap into that half of me often, I mostly focus on my vampire heritage because it's what keeps me up on the food chain in our society. But I am actually pretty skilled in that side of my heritage as well. I'm just not as powerful as a full blooded witch so my protection can only go so far." You shrug as you grin at them. Laying your head on HongJoong's chest.

"Ah okay. Oh and sweetheart? This Incubus is also from a rich family and would marry you any time." He winked from his spot. You giggled as you looked at him. A soft smile resting on your face as your eyes fluttered shut.

Sitting here with them like this, just smiling, talking, and laughing. This had to of been paradise. You wouldn't have ever thought to be somewhere else.

So this chapter was shorter but important. It was a way to learn about her background a bit more and explain the prologue. I'd also like to mention that all of the boys are, as mentioned before, in a higher class than our MC. However as an incubus and blood demon HongJoong and Seonghwa would be the highest. They would also come rich families like Nari. I just wanted to make sure this detail was mentioned and acknowledged!

    Hope you enjoyed!
