Chapter Thirty-One

Ever since your conversation with the boys a couple days ago, none of them leave your side. There's always someone's hand on you. The only place you don't have that happen is at home when you're in your room or if you are in general in the bathroom. So when they were all suddenly no where to be found, to say you were confused was an understatement. You figured they all needed to do something though so didn't allow yourself to linger on the thought.

You were currently in lunch, so you decided to just go to the cafeteria to get a bottle of water. You knew they'd just come find you at your locker whenever they were ready. So after you got your water you waited for them there.

(Ateez POV)

San was holding Jinseong's arms behind his back while marching him towards the woods on the other side of the school. The rest of the members were seething as they walked behind the two.

"We let this go on for far too long. We should've done this a long time ago when you first put your filthy hands on our girl." Yeosang spat at the scared mortal.

"I-I'm sorry! It won't happen again just let me go, please!" Jinseong pleaded. HongJoong laughed. Once they reached the woods, San turned Jinseong around and punched him one good time across the face. Seonghwa took over then. He wrapped the rope around Jinseongs shoulders and tied him to the tree.

Looking up with his bloodied lip, Jinseong saw the way some of their eyes glared red. His breathing picked up as he panicked. Fear seized his body in that moment as his hands began to shake.

"Aw look, the poor thing is scared. Maybe he should've thought about that before all the times he made Nari scared." Mingi said, his raspy voice getting deeper at the end of his sentence. Jinseong looked terrified and it brought a smile to his face.

"Oh and Bae? This will hurt. A lot." Jongho winked before putting his hands on Jinseongs face. Jinseong screamed in pain as his skin burned. Jongho's smile never once leaving his face as he drained Jinseongs energy. Having destructive powers included burning or melting things and it was something he rarely used.

Jongho stopped when Jinseong looked ready to pass out, his head dropping forward with his labored breathing. HongJoong walked up and gently pushed Jongho to the wide.

"usually I'd love to eat the body of my prey but you...oh no, you're gonna sit here as you bleed out and suffer." With a Cheshire grin on his face, HongJoong let his nails slowly sink into the flesh of Jinseongs stomach. Twisting his hand and ripping it out as Jinseong screamed in pain. HongJoong laughed out at the sound. The others couldn't stop themselves from smiling.

Wooyoung had went and found some yew berries while the others were torturing Jinseong. So when he came back to see Jinseong covered in blood with a good few wounds all over his abdomen he knew came from HongJoong having fun, he smiled. He walked over to Jinseong and smiled softly.

"These will help." He said as he put the deadly berries in his mouth. Wooyoung waited until Jinseong swallowed before he face turned blank. Jinseong panicked realizing immediately he shouldn't of done that.

"If you're lucky, those Yew berries will be fast with their poison. If not, then you have approximately two hours before the poison kills you. Have fun with the weakness, vomiting, dizziness, and constant muscle spasms you're about to have." Yeosang winked from Behind Wooyoung. They all turned to walk away before Yunho remembered something.

"Oh and, there's no football practice today." He winked. Jinseong looked confused, there's practice every day after school. But when thunder suddenly rumbled as storm clouds rolled in, he knew he was fucked.
