Getting back home after school, you were ready to go lay in bed and sob. Everyone at school was constantly sending you glares for the scandals Yeosang and San created. You couldn't even refute them because no one would believe you at this point. The boys kept teasing you as well. Especially because you'd get flustered around the two when they got too close and ran to hide behind another person. Unless it was Wooyoung or Yunho, they'd push you back towards San and Yeosang. You however avoided the two like crazy when the boys had walked you home.

Going up to your room you put your backpack down near your desk and get your homework out. Setting it on your desk before  you went back downstairs when you were done changing and cooked something quick for your mom and a little extra for your dad to put some in a bowl to just sit with your mother as if they were eating together.

Going back upstairs you decide to finish your homework now rather than later and get your laptop out, setting it up on your desk as well.  Looking at the homework you had to do you sigh. I guess we'll just start with first hour and go down the classes in order.

Listening to music through your earbuds and taking breaks to just watch the MV's. It helped a lot for you to focus when your brain got muddled and needed a break. Especially when working on science homework.

A couple hours later you close your laptop and put your math folder back, finishing the last of your homework when you hear your parents come home. You tense at first, closing your eyes and taking a deep breath before getting up. Heading downstairs slowly, you round the corner and see your parents at the table.

"We're leaving after we eat. I expect your grades are top notch? Or are you too dumb to even keep your grades up?" Your father says. You look down, avoiding eye contact as you respond.

"All but one class is an A. It's almost an A though. Once I turn in this assignment it will bump up to one." You quietly say. Your fathers hand slams on the table causing you to flinch as your breathing speeds up.

"Get out of my sight, I don't have the energy to deal with you right now." He spits out. You rush upstairs immediately, closing your door behind you. Your hands shaking you sit there before putting skirt, deciding to go back outside to clear your mind.

Eventually your parents leave. 10 minutes later your out the door once sure they're gone. Walking to a convenience store you get some hot chocolate and a pastry. Mediocre food, but hey it lets you get warm and one of the few things you can stomach.

You'd noticed lately your thirst for blood was honing in, but you didn't like to drink it. Yeah according to you being a vampire it's good but mentally you hate it. Knowing that since you're technically alive due to being half witch, you tried to avoid blood as long as you could.

Finally reaching the park you throw away your stuff in a trash bin before making your way over towards the field. Sighing as you sat down. Your brain was so filled with thoughts and anxiety over your parents you couldn't sit still. So you eventually got up and started walking around the park.

However your choice of not changing from your black skirt  was a bad idea because you were freezing. But it was so peaceful looking up to the stars and listening to the leaves rustle as the soft breeze flew through the air.

What you didn't expect however was the random warmth to envelop you. You stopped walking and slowly turned to look behind you. You tilted your head as you looked up to the man behind you. His tan skin and black hair with blonde streaks fascinated you immediately. He just glanced at you before walking around you to get past you.

Song Mingi. You slowly began to follow him as he walked towards the lake in the back of the field. He sat down on the bench quietly as he waited for you to sit down. Soon after you did he gently grabbed your hand and held it to give you some more warmth. You smiled. He wasn't overtly open with affection however after many interactions with him and his friends he did become highly protective of you.

You appreciated the little things he did for you. He would do little things like writing a note for you or correcting your homework as a way to show his affection. Or how he always stands behind you when walking and keeps his eyes straight forward. Occasionally glaring when males from your school would look you up and down. He made you feel safe.

This chapter was shorter because it was more a filler chapter. It was just to help lead into the next chapter. I hope you enjoyed the little cute scene between her and Mingi one and one! I wanna do more scenes with the members hanging out with her one on one so you can better understand their relationships individually as well as a whole group!

I hope you enjoyed and thank you for reading!
