"Foolish child! I could swallow you whole!"

"Do not underestimate me, Gildersnake. For I am the good witch, Azura, warrior of peace. NOW EAT THIS SUCKERR!!"

"No, my only weakness! Dying!"

"And that's the end." Char said, lowering the snake and the doll with a smile. "The end of what?" Juliette asked. "My book report." The snake bit the doll's head. "I think I knocked it out of the park."

"Your book report is why you're in here." The principal sighed. Outside, kids were running around screaming because Char's snakes were just too cool. "Oh, that's where the backup snakes were." Char shrugged. "And what were you going to do with this?" Juliette asked, lifting a firework-bomb-rocket looking thing into her arms.

"That was for the act three closer." Char looked down, her voice lowering a bit. "Mädchen, I love your creativity, but it's gotten out of hand. Do you remember why you were in the principal's office the last three times?" Juliette asked.
(Mädchen is German for 'girl' and for the sake of story, I'm German)

Insert flashbacks that are out of order and that fact low-key makes me wanna cry.

"We all love that you express yourself but if you can't learn to separate reality from fantasy you may need to spend the summer here." Juliette pulled the 'reality check summer camp' pamphlet from out of her bag.

"Don't worry mom, I won't let you down!" It stood up. "No more weirdness!" No sooner had Char said that then the snake jumped out of her hands and probably killed the principal or something I don't know.

"That doesn't count, right?"

"Oh! Oh, my baby." Juliette said, walking up next to Char and hugging her. "Don't worry, summer camp is only going to be for three months. You'll be so busy balancing checkbooks and learning how to appreciate public radio the time will fly by."

"But I don't like any of that stuff!" Char said, throwing her hands out. "I like editing anime clips to music and reading fantasy stories with convoluted backstories."

"Mädchen, your fantasy world is holding you back. Do you have any friends? Real ones. Not imagined, or drawn, or reptilian." Juliette wondered. Dejectedly, Char lowered her Azura book and walked over to the trash.

"Summer camp is a chance to make some friends. But you have to try. Can you do that?" Juliette smiled softly. "Yes, mom." Char agreed as she gently set her book in the trash. Hearing her phone buzz, Juliette lifted it out. "Oh, I gotta go to work." The scarlet redhead walked over to her daughter, placing kisses on her head. "The bus is coming soon, text me when you get there, I love you, Mädchen." Then, she walked away.

"Bye, mom."

Quickly, Char turned to the trashcan and began rummaging in it, trying to find the book. "Where is it? Where is it?!" Hearing a hoot, they looked up to see a tiny owl with a bag, it's book inside. "Tiny trash thief!" She yelled before running after the owl. She watched as it went into the shack and then continued running, going through a door.

"Stop adorably hopping away you- huh?" Now she was inside a tent. "Whoa. And I thought I had a lot of weird stuff." She though aloud as she looked around. She lifted up a weird doll looking thing. "But this- this is impressive."
