"It feels like the end of the world..."
"Kai, it'll only become the end of the world if you make it your own." Wu put his arm around Kai. "And as long as I'm here, I won't let you do that. You're not going to follow your sister for once." Tears streaked Kai's face. Nya was gone.
Cole was busy comforting Jay, Zane was with Pixal, and Lloyd was alone, trying to distract himself. But Wu knew if he left Kai alone, it wouldn't end well.
"I-- I feel so guilty... I should've... I should've saved her..." Kai whispered between sniffs. Wu didn't know how to help Kai, it was rare for anyone to see Kai in such a state, even though Wu had expected this. Kai covered his face and stood up. Wu could tell he was just angrier now, as Kai clenched his fists and paced around the room.
"Kai, it's not your fault, please, don't blame yourself," Wu also stood up and placed his hand on Kai's shoulder.
"If it's not my fault, whose is it!?" Kai snapped, whacking away Wu's hand. Wu was startled.
"I-- Kai... suicide isn't anyone's fault..." Wu strained. Kai breathed heavily before his face scrunched up and he fell to his knees, sobbing with despair.
