Includes: Greenflame, and Kai and Nya sibling moment
"I'm so in love with him, I don't know what to do..." Kai complained to Nya as he leaned his forehead against the wall. Nya sat on his bed, she rolled her eyes.
"Well, do the obvious! Ask him out!" Nya urged. Kai groaned and turned around, sliding down the wall.
"He's straight, Nya. Harumi and Akita prove it, he'd never love me back," Kai strained. He was trying to sound as if he were only complaining, but he couldn't help but feel his throat getting tighter and tighter as he thought about Lloyd and Harumi together. Nya sighed. She stood up and walked over to Kai. She held out her hand to him.
"Don't be an idiot Kai, just because he liked one or two girls doesn't prove he's straight, it just means that he definitely likes girls, it doesn't rule out guys!" Kai looked up at her and took her hand. She lifted him to his feet. "And besides, you should just ask him whether he's straight or not! I could even do it for you if you want, but I think it'd be better if you do it," Nya crossed her arms and looked at Kai sternly as if she were telling him off.
Kai thought for a moment. Nya was right, like always. There was obviously a chance that he wasn't straight, and Kai wouldn't know until he asked, but god, he could barely think straight around Lloyd by now (lol). How on earth did Nya think he was going to ask such a direct question?
"I... ugh, Nya, could-- could you ask for me? I just... I don't think I can..." Kai whispered. He felt so strange, so... weak, helpless. Nya's shoulders dropped.
"Fine, but you owe me because I still think you should do it," Nya turned around and opened Kai's door.
"Uh-- Thanks Nya!" He called after her as she left the room.
"Whatever!" She called back.
