Problematic kitten

Prologue

"Can I really have that tool box mom? Are you absolutely, 100% sure I can have it?" 8 years old Usagi ask her mother 100th time, clearly exited. Her mother, Umi Matsuda chuckle while her older sister Hisako groan in annoyance. "She has already promised you like millionth times already. YES Giku, you will get that tool box. Like you don't already have dozens of them." She groan. Usagi smile apologetically. "But that tool box has smaller screwdrivers and-" "I don't care." Hisako cut her off with tired sigh. Her mother just chuckle and smile to her children. 

"It is good thing that you have healing quirk. You would have probably killed yourself already without it." Hisako say to her little sister who just smile sheepishly. "It was one time and it wasn't that big of explosion." She defend herself weakly. "Now now, stop fighting girls. We are almost there." Umi say and pet both of their heads. Hisako grunt and try to push her hand away like any normal 15 years old would but Usagi giggle in delight. She smile warmly to both of them before stepping inside store.

It didn't take long until Usagi has brought the tool box she want to her mother and has rushed to somewhere else. Umi sigh and put the box on register. Man behind it chuckle. "I haven't seen anyone, not to mention a child be so exited to be in hardware store." "Well, she is such a nerd." Hisako grunt with crossed arms. "She has been more into making new machines and experiments. Even me and her father don't always know what she is making." "Huh, smart kid then." "She is." She turn to look at her other daughter. "As well as Hisako. She might not be as book smart as her sister but she has been teaching parkour to her sister recently." She tell the shopkeeper proudly and ruffle her daughter's head. "Don't... That is only so she can outrun any idiot who try to use her as punching bag." She grunt under her breath.

That caught Umi's attention. "Hisako? What do you mean by that?" Hisako realize her slip and slap hand over her mouth for a second before smiling sheepishly to her mother. "Nothing...?" Umi frown and give her stern look. Before she manage to answer to her mother doorbell sing. "Welcome! What- WOAH!" Umi immediately push Hisako behind her, shielding her from man with a gun. Or is it his hand? "Put everything you have in this bag." Man command and throw backpack to the table. 

Umi try to move further while covering for Hisako but man growl and turn the gun toward her. "Don't even think about it woman or I will blow hole in your kid's head!" He threaten and she stop. Hisako whimper behind her and she grit her teeth. Shopkeeper reach toward alarm button under the table but man notice it. "Wrong move." He grunt and shot him in the arm. Man yell from pain and drop on his knees. "Now, MOVE!" He roar and push the pack toward register. Shopkeeper nod and stand up with some difficulties. 

Usagi has heard the shot and that snap her out of her head. She frown and carefully sneak toward the sound. She gasp when she see the situation. Hisako is silently crying, her mother look terrified as well as angry and the kind shopkeeper is bleeding and look horrified. She gulp and look around, is there anything she could do to help. 

Then Hisako try to use her quick, telekinesis, to get the gun out of man's hand. Man whip his head toward her with burning eyes. "You really don't know when to stop, do you kid?" He say dangerously calmly and turn the gun toward her. Umi move to cover Hisako who yelp in fear. Then something push his hand away and shot ring in the air. Shopkeeper grunt in pain. "USAGI?! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! RUN!" Umi scream in horror when her younger daughter bite in man's arm.

Man grunt in pain and throw Usagi on floor. "Stupid kid." His eyes burn. "This will teach you." He grunt and shoot toward her. "NO!" Umi scream and attack the man this time. She fight to get his gun or at least turn it away from her children. They struggle on floor for a moment until he managed to kick her away from him. "Stupid bitch!" He roar and shot several times toward her. Usagi shake her head to clear it from pain and exhaustion that comes after huge healing. She open her eyes just in time to see her mother and sister get shot. 

Usagi scream in horror. Man turn to look at her and his eyes widen. He was sure he shot her and two bullet holes with blood on her shirt prove that so how she can be still alive? She ignore the man and scramble to her family. Hisako is already dead, bullet has hit her heart, but Umi is still breathing. "Mom? Mom! You can't leave me! Mom! You have to heal Hisako." She cry while shaking her shoulders. She turn her head slightly with some difficulties and give her weak smile. "You are save.... That is good...." "Mom? Mom, NO!" She cry and feel how she slipped away. 

"NOOO!!" Usagi scream and clutch on her mother's shirt. Huge tears stream down her face while she cry. Sound behind her make her to turn to look at the man who is responsible of nightmare front of her. She grit her teeth and her eyes start to burn in fury. She literally growl to the man and stand up. Man has grabbed rest of the money and just throw the backpack over his shoulder. "Don't try anything stupid kid." He threaten and point his gun at her. She snarl, bend her knees and jump to his face. Man yelp in surprise and shoot. She ignore the pain from her thighs and stomach while she land on his chest. She still growl and start to scratch his face. 

Man roar in anger and pain and after a moment managed to throw Usagi away. She hit the rack and impact knock air out of her lungs. She drop on floor on her knees and gasp for air. "Crazy kid." Man grunt and run out of shop. "Wait!" She gasp and force herself to move. She won't let the man get away. Not after he has murdered mom and Hisako. She jump out of door to ram against young man who immediately catch her. "Whoa there kid. Are you okay?" "Let me go, he is going to get away." She growl and fight to get free while frantically looking around. 

Usagi freeze when she see man has been already knocked out by none other than All might. "Do you mean robber? He is already arrested, kid." She slowly turn to look at the man who has caught her. She also see several other heroes around and paramedics lights. Man has black hair, long scarf and tired but kind eyes. Tears start to stream down her face again. Man frown confused. "M-M-Mom a-and Hi-H-His-ako...." She sob before clutching on man's shirt and hiding her face in his chest. She start to cry, most heartbroken and miserably cry anyone could possible muster.

"Eraserhead, who is the kid?" "I don't know Mic." Man answer to other before taking Usagi in his arms and stand up. "But I think inside didn't look too pretty." He answer before carrying the crying kid toward police officers. Were we too late after all? Why did he has to slip past our raid?
