February 16th, 1969
We had decided to act on this mission with a mix of Vietnamese Rangers and U.S. Green Berets and with the following heavy equipment, a BTR-152 and BTR-40, an M151 Mutt, an Mi-6 Gunship outside the capital. I had the plan put together, I switched my OG 107s with the local clothes to get into the palace and I had to pull a frickin BTR-40 with my own hands and in neutral! After my back broke, Tay and his group went to get the emperor while I, Lelei and Rory went after the princess. My team and I armed with CAR 15s, a couple M72 LAWs and various small arms. We arrived and held the guards at gunpoint but the prince in his rage, called in a few ogres with armor. about the same amour thickness as an armored car or APC. I let the 2 girls take on ogre out and then I told them to "Stay back. I can handle this!" I slung my CAR over my shoulder and then opened the M72 and fired it, creating a hole in it's chest that I could see through. "Damn, I didn't think it would do that!" I then threw the tube to the side and looked at my work as I then said to the prince, "we'll be going now, so unless you got any complaints, so long!!" He then angerly challenged me to hit a cup up close and from far away so I decided to call up my secret weapon. A sniper team nearby which the Heli pilots signaled to with flashlights to go. After the prince did his feat with an archer and a mage, I pulled out My M1911 and shot the cup I was to use into the air and the sniper hit the mark dead on! I thanked god and he couldn't do anything as we won and took off with his last hope for his stable rule. I then went out with the boys and got our M151 Mutt and BTR-40 running and jumped in with the princess and left.

After linking up with Tay, we jumped in and got everyone reunited, it was a brief happy moment. However, the emperor soon revealed, after he got back up, he lost control of the prince and now, Civil war was inevitable and the CIA had decided to create a new plan of action, Molt would step down but before he did, Pina would be made crown princess and as a result, become empress, creating a legitimate government recognized by the U.N. with NATO and Warsaw Pact Approval. The French and British blocked the U.N. meetings so decision making was delayed but there was enough time to get this one with the ROC, USSR and USA deciding to recognize this new government.
3rd person POV
The Rescue operation by U.S. and Vietnamese forces was a huge blow to the subtle strategy of China and the U.K. They decided to intervene directly with the Imperial Civil war now inevitable. Zorzal's failure forced him to leave the capital taking with him, his army, his slaves, his treasury and his court with him to the west to avoid U.S. and Vietnamese airstrikes. Pina was made crown princess and Molt stepped down so she could become empress, according to the CIA's directive. While Zorzal made himself emperor of a ramshackle state with no major allies in the New world and with a lacking modern army.

March 5th, 1969
After the princess was crowned, An announcer called, "U.S. Army Colonel, Marcus Williams may now come up as the representative of the United states." I then stepped up and then the U.S. Anthem started playing for me, my boys and all U.S. soldiers and officers present as we sung the lyrics we knew from heart with the old flag being raised for all Americans to salute or pledge as one for possibly the last time in our history.
"Oh say can you see, by the dawn's early light, what so proudly we hail from the twilight's last gleaming?" "Who's broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight o'er the ramparts we watched were so gallantly streaming?" "And the rocket's red glare, the bombs bursting in air, gave to the night, that our flag was still there." "Oh say, does that star spangled banner yet wave o'er the land of the free and the home of the brave?"
The other attendees clapped at our singing and we kept our salute up as F-4 and F-111s flew by, streaming an American flag in the sky with smoke and I was handed a medal by the princess herself, she was embarrassed and so was I. I then stepped down to the cheers of all Americans and of the delegations present.
they then called out for Thang in Vietnamese, "Đại tá Tây Sơn Thắng của Quân đội Quốc gia Việt Nam giờ đây có thể trở thành đại diện của Việt Nam. (Colonel Tây Sơn Thắng of the National Army of Vietnam may now come up as the representative of Vietnam.)" Then the Vietnamese troops saluted as their anthem played and Thang stepped up with their unity to last permanently as both communist, nationalist, liberal and conservative saluted to their great anthem and sang as brothers and sisters of the same nation and people.
"Này Công Dân ơi! Quốc gia đến ngày giải phóng. Đồng lòng cùng đi hi sinh tiếc gì thân sông." "Vì tương lai Quốc Dân, cùng xông pha khói tên, Làm sao cho núi sông từ nay luôn vững bền." "Dù cho thây phơi trên gươm giáo, Thù nước, lấy máu đào đem báo." Vietnamese MiG-21s and MiG-23s flew by and drew the Vietnamese flag in the sky. The Imps and us clapped as Thang received his medal from her as well. Everyone in the audience continued clapped as he stepped down and the people of Vietnam cheered for him as they watched one of their own get such an honor. His parents, his wife and children were among those back home rooting for him, I bet. However, that answer from the old emperor began plaguing me for a bit. Civil war was inevitable. The question was, when and how intense will it be?
