September 9th, 1968, the White house

LBJ has heard about the new casualties and the heavy toll of the public demands to withdraw. However, he can't just leave now, Especially with nations like the U.S.S.R. and his own allies in Great Britain and France eyeing up the new world like a new place to expand their dying empires or as new puppet states against the United States.

(excerpt from a NY times Newspaper article on the discovery of slavery in the new world)

Horror! Slavery still active in the new world!

The Saderan Empire continues the practice of Slavery as the United States and United Nations act to end it everywhere! Henry Kissinger calls upon the U.S. allies in Africa and Asia to step up in the war and to support the new act and end this abhorrent institution.

(Speech by President LBJ on September 16th, 1968)

My fellow Americans, I now have Horrible news to reveal. Americans and Vietnamese Civilians have been Enslaved by the Empire of Sadera, I have decided to mobilize Congress and our allies overseas to pass the Emancipation act which will activate the new year. It will liberate the slaves of the new world with exceptions for only prisoner labor. For those who doubt the validity, I have ordered the U.S. Army and Our Allies to rescue at least one slave to prove our point and to return him or her to their home nation. Be it America or Vietnam. It will be of great relief to all peoples to end the abhorrent practice and to bring those captured home!

Joe Galloway POV

It was September 15th, 1968, it was Ia Drang all Over Again with this operation, Colonel Moore worked with Colonel "Kilgore" Williams for this operation alongside the Vietnamese we once shot at.

third person POV

The Americans under Moore land and begin open firing killing many of the guards after the Vietnamese under Nguyễn Hữu An move out. They then ceased firing, fired a flare indicating the location and where to attack from and then waited for the commandos. The Berets were lead by Kilgore and were dropping from an MI-8 Vietnamese Helicopter right on the roof alongside the Vietnamese Rangers lead by Colonel Tây Sơn.

The rescue team then entered and Kilgore lead in the front since he was a green beret during the early 1960s. They cut through the guards and reached the palace where the emperor was sitting and was almost expecting the American Commandos to be here.

Colonel Williams POV

We entered the palace and the princely bastard then arrived with a girl, we readied our Car 15s and aimed at his fucking head just in case he acted. But he simply threw her to the floor and at that moment the Vietnamese Rangers arrived, pointed their AKs at the hostiles and shouted, "Không ai di chuyển!" which translated to (Nobody move!) The bastard then introduced the girl, an Japanese-American, Noriko Mochizuki from Los Angeles, California.

Zorzal, the bastard then order his guards to attack but we showed him our firepower by emptying our mags into all his troops.

we fired all weapons in the room, rifles, Machine guns, Shoguns, Pistols, everything on us, We killed everyone between us and Zorzal except for a few who survived due to sheer luck or by hiding under corpses but they gave up immediately on seeing us reload and aiming right at em. Zorzal then tripped on himself as I picked him up and pointed my pistol at him. "Alright Ya bastard! Anymore? If so, Hand them over!" He refused to give up even with a gun in his face. He still refused even as I put the gun to his temple. The emperor then shouted, "十分!奴隷を手放します。" Yandel translated, "He said enough. He'll let go of the slaves" I then said, "Alright, We'll just take them and go." I was going to shoot Zorzal but a bunny girl ran up and grabbed him out of reach.

She begged to not shoot him so I had to go and take the current slave we had and also handed the emperor a paper with the Emancipation Proclamation of 1863 and another that enforced it as I said toddles and left to the choppers

We then saw the results of the battle outside and came to the Idea that Moore's battalion wiped out the imperial forces at the exit and the Vietnamese with their BMPs and BTRs drove off a reinforcement army numbering in the thousands with only a couple thousand men of their own.

Documentary POV

The 1968 Emancipation Proclamation ended slavery in all aspects except for prison labor charges. It was a new era for the empire but another issue came in later that same week as someone tried to remove this new sign of modern Liberty. And as the allied forces left, the prince began scheming his revenge.
