Chapter 9

1 week after the incident

Chay's Pov

I have been living here in this huge house for a week already, and I don't like it at all. There are always people over, anytime they see me they always ask who I am and why I'm here. I try not to leave my room because I don't want to have any interactions with people. But I am worried about Pete. He hasn't been out of his room ever since he got here, him and Vegas are always yelling but I can't quite make out what their saying.

I have been too afraid to go and talk to him or see him, because I don't want him to yell at me. But I owe him an apology, I'm the reason he is in this mess.

Vegas' Pov

I have been trying to help Pete ever since the incident happened, but every time I do it always just ends with us screaming at each other. Here I am standing outside the door again, I place my hand on the doorknob and turned it, entering the room. As soon as I enter, I see Pete sitting in the windowsill looking up at the sky.

Pete, I call out hoping he will at least spare me a glance. But he doesn't. Get out, He says blandly paying no care that I'm here to help him.  How could you say that, after I'm the one that is taking care of you and your brother. I say agitation evident in my voice. I'm in all of this mess because of you Vegas, you're the reason that I live such a shitty life. My mom would never have died if you didn't send your men to take me that night, my brother wouldn't have to worry if you didn't take me. My friend wouldn't have died if you didn't kill him, he shouts as he gets up and hits my chest. 

I had my reasons, Pete. Your reason to ruin my life, everything I had is gone, there is nothing left. You will never understand how it is because you can live around freely, you have money, you have family, unlike me I have nothing left. I am all alone and I have to take care of my brother, he doesn't even want to see me because I'm the reason that he has nobody left.

He just stood there slowly falling apart again, tears rolled down his face as he poured all of his emotions out. I'm sorry Pete, I never meant to hurt you I just wanted to have you to myself. I say to him as I try to wipe the tears on his face. That's your problem Vegas, you're selfish, you always want more and more until there's nothing else. Vegas' I have nothing else, you won. He says. 

I look at him with confusion on my face. Let us go Vegas, we don't belong with people above our power. Let us go back to what we had before, please. He says emotionless. I push him off of me, making him fall to the ground. After everything I have done for you, this is how you repay me.

Nobody's Pov

Vegas started going around the room and throwing things around. Pete just sat there on the floor, trying to protect himself from the flying objects. Vegas then walked up to Pete and pulled him off of the floor. Who do you think you are to say that to me, Vegas says bitterly. Let me go Vegas I want nothing to do with you, Pete says. 

Vegas then got his knife and put it up against Pete' face. You are mine and you will follow what I say, don't ever get the idea of running from me. Vegas spat as he started carving a line into Pete's face. Pete grabbed Vegas' hands, trying to move the knife away from him. Vegas' hands didn't move from Pete's face, but instead pushed the knife deeper.  

Pete was helpless and had no choice but to endure the pain. this is what I'm talking about Vegas, you will always be the one to have power, you will never have to worry about having nothing left, because you will get anything you want, whenever you want it, Pete says emotionless. Pete then manages to push Vegas away, grabbing the knife from him. 

Vegas if I can't have what I want, then neither can you, Pete says before stabbing himself with the knife. Pete drops to the floor holding the knife. Vegas stands their stunned, before rushing to Pete. HELP SOMEBODY HELP!!! Vegas yells. 

Both Arm and Tankhun rush in to see why Vegas was yelling. After seeing what was happening, they both ran over and helped Vegas lift Pete up. They rushed him out and towards the door. Chay came out hearing all of the commotion, when he seen Pete, he immediately started freaking out. Vegas managed to get Pete in the car and started to drive to the hospital. Don't leave me Pete please.
