Neteyam's POV
I woke up feeling dizzy. My head is throbbing. I'd like to lay back again, close my eyes, then sleep, but that would be torture.
I'm curled up on a small white bed and there's a white cloth wrapped in my chest again. Unlike the last time I saw it, it wasn't bleeding tremendously nor aching.
I sat at the edge and looked around. I'm still at Enid's lab with my mask on and there's something teasing my sense of smell. I looked at the bedside table and saw this soup in a bowl. It looks delicious and it seems to be for me.
The bowl was small but it was very full. I took it and had a sip. My eyes widen. "Shit, it's exquisite." within a minute, I devoured it all and sadly, it wasn't enough.
My eyes searched for the place but didn't find Enid nor that stupid George of her. I decided to stand up slowly, and when I didn't feel anything, I removed my mask and walked towards the door to get out.
I had to shut my eyes tightly when the sun struck my eyes but the nature's smell make it up for me. The fresh scent of the surroundings made me close my eyes and feel everything I couldn't back at Awa’atlu Village; the forest. Best morning.
"Are you done daydreaming?" I opened my eyes and my sight was greeted by Enid's face with just a regular clear mask so I was able to see her whole face outside. Her nose was scrunching a bit and her eyes were bored looking at me. She was also holding a pot on her hand with a plant in it.
Ahh, best morning, indeed.
"Good morning, sunshine." I greeted back with a smile on my face. Her face started to get annoyed and my day officially started.
"Stop calling me sunshine, skxawng." she walked past me to go to the side of her lab where couples of pots were aligned with the same wild infected plants in it. She put the one she's holding at the end of it.
"I was just wondering what you did to me. I woke up fully naked. Did you perhaps..." I joked.
She looked at me and arched her eyebrows. "Saw you shamelessly ripping your clothes off in front of me last night? Yes. Yes, I did."
I laughed and poked her side causing her to jolt and smile.
"What are you doing? You seemed busy." I commented looking at the poor plants.
"Hm, good observation. Last night, after I healed your wounds, I started to combine the substances we foraged. There were many combinations so I just investigate and choose the top 10 best ones. I came up with 10 possible antidotes. So I went and find identical infected plants to test them with. Care to help me?"
She showed me 10 different colored sprays sitting at a small wooden table just beside her. "Of course." I smiled wildly and walked with her when we took the sprays one by one.
"Hey." she called me when we were about to spray it. "Please don't be an idiot and spray these bottles on the pots with the same color as them. It's very organized."
"Yes, ma'am." I saluded but she just shook her head and started spraying. I copied what she did and carefully sprayed it. It didn't take us a lot of time to finish.
"Finish!" I chanted putting down the last spray bottle down. "Now what?"
"Now, we wait for the result." Enid answered back. She carried the box on the table where all the sprays are located but I immediately grab it from her.
"Let me." I offered which she knows she can't do anything about it. "Where do I put this?"
"Inside, on the table." she said pointing at the lab.
