We won the battle against the sky people once again but there were many wounded na'vis. Unfortunately, there were also dead ones including those brave animals who fought with me.

Mixed of sadness and triumph filled the surroundings as we watched the people swim with their deceased family who died during the battle. The night was colder, the bioluminescent plants and animals glowed in the dark, the dead na'vis are curled up as their loved ones brought them down the water to bid their goodbyes. Letting them sink down to the sea anemones.

Neteyam's arm wrapped around my avatar body and held me tighter on my shoulder, then, I found my self also shredding tears. I looked at his freshly bruised face and he just gave me a peck on my forehead.

Watching this depressing ceremony, it made me think what I would do if Neteyam was one of them. Can I take it? Can I even have a courage to watch him part from me forever? Can I even be with him when we let go of his body to be eaten by the carnivorous plants underwater forever? I don't think I can.

The sea creatures were also given a funeral altogether to give thanks for their sacrifices but the sky people weren't given any. Their bodies were thrown away deep in the sea, although they're still against the idea of having their body pest the farthest part of the ocean. My aunt on the other side, Norm was the only one who came to her funeral. He was also the only one who buried her, asking the Na'vi to at least give him that pleasure, and because he saved the clan and he's already part of it, they indulged him.

He's not here. And I don't know where he buried Marlee but I know he wants to be alone with her dead body.

Some of the Na'vi weren't able to attend because they were too wounded and some were even unconscious including Ao'nung.

"Are you tired now?.." Neteyam whispered beside my ear. "...we can go home now, I know this day has been very tiring for you."

I smiled at him and nodded. The ceremony just ended and when he said that, I suddenly felt my body got tired.

"Let's go." he took my hand and guided me away from the water.

"I'm going to the lab." I said as we stepped on the sand.

He stopped and grabbed my hand then looked at me in the eye. "Can you sleep with me? In our Pod. After everything, I want to make sure you're safe with me. We've been getting separated all the time I'm scared. I don't want to wake up tomorrow that you're gone, again. Please? Just this night, Enid?"

"It's your family's Pod, Neteyam. I can't sleep with your family."

"They've accepted you already, remember? They offered for you to be part of us now, and they know that you're my mate already. They won't mind." he pleaded more.

Honestly, I also want to be between his arms for tonight. Just like him, I'm still terrified. Everything happened in a day. I want to rest, with him.

I gave him a warm smile. "Let's sleep together then."

He gave me a wider smile and took my hand to go to their Pod. I've never seen the inside of a Pod but theirs is neat. It has large space and their things were organized properly.

My eyes roam around as Neteyam prepared our bed on the floor with some blanket. I guess it's because of Jake Sully that the surrounding somewhat look like sky people's. There are pictures of their family hanging on the wall.

"Hey, it's ready. Come here." Neteyam was already sitting there and patting his side and I happily obliged. I sat beside him taking a deep breathe. I thought it was going to be awkward between us but I don't think there's even a hint of that feeling. I just feel... comfortable.
