All the Na'vi people gathered around us all frantic as we watched the big ship camouflaged as the ground of the sea released group of sky people from above. They were preparing their weapons while hissing at them.
Two of the sky people jumped from the ship to a smaller boat below and it started to work, running fast to the water. There were one man and one woman, only the man holding a big gun that seems unfamiliar to me.
I held Enid's hand tightly as they approach. There's something making me feel nervous about the situation except for the fact that this might be the possible war we've been preparing for. I could also see the chief and his Tsahik finally joining us.
They finally went in front of us and the hissing became louder but no one attempted to attack.
The woman unmounted the boat with confidence. "Where's my niece?" she asked proudly that everyone could hear. She was wearing a smile and even though she looks like my mate at first, as I hear her overly proud voice, they became really different. Disgustingly different that I regretted seeing her as Enid for once.
"Get back, Marlee. You can't take her away from her home." dad answered bravely, holding a gun.
"Oh! Jake Sully, long time no see." her eyes shifted to my dad and gave him a side smile. Mom immediately hissed at her while holding her bow. "I see you've got yourself a blue family now." She laughed. "And by the way, what home are you referring to? The forest where she doesn't have any parent or the water where the killer of her parents live?"
"Marlee, I don't think she wants to be with you." Norm defended.
When Marlee's sight caught Norm, her eyes widen. "Oh my god, shit Norm, you're blue as well. The last time we saw each other you were telling me how much you want to leave with me. Right, babe?" her voice was sarcastic this time and I could also hear a hint of pain.
Norm didn't answer but his eyes also didn't leave the woman's figure. Marlee was the one who looked away and roam around looking for something. Finally, she caught the person behind me and once again, her face lit up.
"Oh, here's my niece. Why don't you come to auntie and let's both avenge your mother's death, hmm?" she said and I was instantly filled with anger. I put Enid behind me, holding my dagger so tightly.
"Don't listen to her, Enid. Just stay behind." I whispered at her then Marlee noticed me.
"Is that your boyfriend? You could have chosen much better." she mocked but it didn't affect me. I'm already enraged with everything she's causing. When she realize that Enid was not coming forward, her expression became more serious. "Who's your chief?" She yelled with authority in her voice.
Tonowari stepped forward. "I am the chief and I want you gone here."
Marlee's jaw tightened. "You're the chief?" she nodded continously trying to control her temper. "Fuck you for killing my sister. You're going to give me my niece."
"No."
She laughed. "You see, you don't have many choices here, chief. It's either you give my Enid or these guns will explode your people's head. Trust me, it's not your ordinary gun. This weapon will blast the shit out of you, worse than grenade. I don't care if you hit me with your spear but just be warned that your people will be killed in a second by killing me or not giving me my niece."
I don't think they knew what grenade is but they stepped backwards. I could see how Tonowari looked at Enid then to his people.
By this time, my heart is pounding in my chest. I just want to take my mate's hand and run away from all of this and never come back. We could have done that earlier. My grip around her arm tighten even more.
