"Where is your hideout?" I repeated the question for like a thousand times. The man infront of me is all all bruised up and groaning in pain but still doesn't talk.
"You're not gonna get anything from me." he said with blood and saliva dripping from his swollen lips. I gave him another punch in the face.
"Hey, go easy." Neteyam whispered beside me as his blue hand held my human fist.
"Yeah, listen to your alien boyfriend, whore." he mocked and that made Neteyam took some actions. Using his two fingers, he gave the man a slight slap on the face.
"Careful with the word of choice." he threatened and even me got goosebumps with the way he said it.
I rolled my eyes and grabbed his hand so I could lead him outside the room.
"He's really not talking. I've given him all the pain, he still wouldn't." I stated as soon as we closed the door and made sure that he wasn't listening.
"Yeah, I could see that." he commented and we both watched the scientist. "Where's Norm?"
"In the forest. He said he has an idea." I answered. I walked towards a chair and sat with force, frustrated about everthing not going so well. "He's almost a week here, and we haven't gotten any information from him. Whatever their plan is, we have to stop it before they finish it, or the clan will be in danger."
Neteyam went beside me and his hand trailed over my back to console me. "Don't be stress by it. We'll do what we can. The burden is in all of us."
"Yeah, but if I can just make him confess, it'll make the job for everyone easier."
He smiled at me and went on his knees to level up to me. His eyes were reassuring me. "Hey, we're all in this together. You did a great job protecting that soul tree for months."
"I didn't protect it. I didn't even know that there are other sky people here other than me."
He sighed. "How about I take you out? This place is stressing you out."
I rolled my eyes. "No. I've got more jobs to do here."
"Just 10 minutes."
"Shut up."
"Come on, Enid."
"No."
---
How did he even convinced me here?
"Dip in the water, Enid." Neteyam said while swimming and I'm just standing on the sand in my avatar form with my arms crossed.
"No."
"Don't tell me you're still afraid that I can read your body language and how it tells me that--"
"No, I'm not." I said with full emphasis.
He chuckled and finally walked to me. "Really? Then why your tail wagging so wildly?" He said smirking and leaning to me.
My eyes widen and looked behind me to see how's my tail going. "What?" It was not.
I heard him laugh. "Kidding." I suddenly felt a pair of arms grabbed my back and let me fall to it then lift me up in the air.
"What the fuck-- Neteyam. Put me down!" I started moving aggressively as he walked to the water with me on his arms. But even as an avatar, my strength was no match for him.
He didn't listen to me and just keep on laughing as we go deeper. "I really have to feed your Na'vi body from now on. You're as light as a woodsprite."
The water is now as deep as his chest and I'm really soaking wet now. "Neteyam, put me down, I'll kill you!" I yelled and continuesly slapped his chest.
