After the bloody war between the Na'vi and the sky people, they were sent back to Earth. Some stayed, with the consent of the Na'vi themselves, some chose to stay without their knowledge.

Fidel and Inez, two scientists, were one of those who stood up against the evil plans of the sky people of destroying the forest, home of the Omaticaya people. They did not interact with the indigenous clan but they knew that their original purpose of wandering Pandora was opposing their ethics as botanists.

With everything that they could, they helped fight their own team by sabotaging some of their systems during the war and collaborating with the head of the rebellion and a close friend; Jake Sully. But they never introduced themselves to the Na'vi. They chose to work privately, keeping themselves from more trouble by engaging with their existing wrath against their like-- demons.

After the battle, they decided to stay in Pandora because Earth was hell, for them. They traveled away, moving from time to time, but learning. They've learnt the ways of the Na'vi, found it interesting, and applying it in their life. Although, they avoided to be seen, knowing very well what might happen.

Until they came into a small forest surrounded by water. Except for animals, there weren't any Na'vi there. But near it was the Awa’atlu village, home of Metkayina clan who never attempted to go in the jungle, . Aside from that, the forest was very interesting as it contains different kinds of animals and plants considering how small it is compared to others.

It was decided, they'll gonna stay. They've built strong relationship with each other, soon blessed with a beautiful girl.

"Honey, come here! She's saying her first word." Inez called her husband from the ship.

Fidel ran as fastly as he could. "Really? Let me hear."

The baby girl laughed as she tried to find the words in her mouth. "S.. S..." she uttered and her parents waited patiently. "Skxawng!"

Their faces dropped and Inez glared at her guilty-looking husband. "You really have to teach her that?"

"I didn't!" he protested but Inez didn't believe him. "Okay, maybe I did. But Enid is just a child, she'll forget it someday or tomorrow."

She didn't though.

They raised her very well. Teaching her two ways at a time: sky people's and Na'vi's. As a child, they opened her eyes, harnessing her senses. Teaching her science, language, hunting, and to fight. They didn't treat her as a child, but they sure did treat and love her as a daughter.

As she grows, her parents also discovered a lot. They became closer to the nature, understanding everything, including non science. Believing in Eywa and learning to live her ways.

"Yes, right there. Aim straight." Fidel whispered in her 5-year-old daughter as he teach her to use an arrow.

Even at a young age, Enid learned very fast. She let go of the string as the arrow flew through the air towards a wild animal. It hit its chest.

"Now, run. Run to it." Fidel instructed again and she ran fast. She kneel and took her dagger from her pocket. "Now say the chant."

Without even trembling, she stabbed the whimpering animal leading to its death. "Oel ngati kameie, ma tsmukan, ulte ngaru seiyi irayo. Ngari hu Eywa salew tirea, tokx 'ì'awn slu Na'viyä hapxì." then pulling it out.

Both mental and physical was Enid's strongest assets. She was smart and open minded. With her little help, she spent her time learning everything and giving a hand to her parents as they considered their forest home and sanctuary for animals.
