Chapter Twenty Five

BeastBoy's P.O.V

I felt as if my heart had fallen into my stomach as I heard the long ominous beep. I sat in a chair beside Raven I wanted to help but I couldn't move. It was as if I couldn't even control my body, that's how shocked I was. Cyborg said he was certain that he had gotten all of the pills out of her system, then why is her heart failing? All I could do was stare as Cyborg and Robin ready the shock pads to try and revive Raven. Starfire had too fallen into shock but instead of sitting stiff as a board like me she began to cry her eyes out.

I didn't feel like crying I just wanted to punch something. Why did I have to loose everyone I care about? First I lost my parents, then my first crush turned evil, and now I've lost Raven my first, and I must admit only, love. I tried to look anywhere but at Raven she looked so still but yet still so beautiful. As Cyborg began to put the shock pads away a sad look on his face. Robin began to walk over to Starfire and pull her into his arms I couldn't take it. I ran out of the room not taking a second glance at the dark beauty behind me.

I ran all the way down the hallway and stopped at Raven's room. I looked at the door and thought of all the times I came here to see if she wanted to hang out with us. To just bug her and tell her good morning, but now all of that is gone and her room will be forever empty. I banged my fist against her door and slid down the door to the floor. I felt tears being to trickle down my face, I felt like my heart was being ripped out of my chest.

I jumped when I heard a huge crash from the other side of the room. Quickly acting I jumped to my feet and ran down the hallways looking for a clue as to what had happened. I found the source right as a giant boulder almost hit me in the face. I dodged the boulder and looked around to see Malchoir and Terra fighting. Although I couldn't tell what had happened I knew they were probably fighting over a vile that Terra had in her hand. It was a sickly green color that looked disgusting.

Terra threw more rocks at him as Malchoir began to cast more spells. Apparently neither of them had seen me yet so now was as good as ever for a sneak attack. Although the problem is who do I attack, the douche who broke Raven's heart or the girl who broke mine.....I picked the douche. I had turned into a ram and hit him in his back making him fall to the floor. I ran towards Terra to see if she was okay. I changed back and she smiled a small smile. "Hey BeastBoy, you actually want to help me?" She asked both out of breath and a but surprised. "Well you should be happy I picked you over the douche, what do you have in your hand?" I asked pointing to the green liquid in her hand. She looked at the vile then at me. "It's the antidote, it will save Raven's life but there's one problem I need a spell. After one of us drinks the liquid we need to say a spell and I've been trying to get Malchoir to tell me but so far no luck." She said and I wanted to hug her so badly and thank her for finally helping us. Also of course the biggest reason helping me save Raven.

I smiled at Terra the first genuine smile I had given someone all day. So we had to capture Malchoir and kind of 'beat' the answers out of him, this should be a piece of cake but in reality it wasn't. It took all four of us titans along with Terra to defeat this guy we now had him tied up with a rope that restricted his powers. He sat there with a heated glare directed at Terra but mostly was glaring at all of us. "Now tell us what is the spell that will save Raven?" I asked acting like a detective holding a light into his face. "Why should I tell you she deserved to die?" He said shrugging. "She didn't deserve to die, no one does, especially Raven I love her." He looked at me shocked then began to laugh in my face. The same dumb hysterical laugh he had when we tried to save Raven earlier today. "You are so dumb you know that right? Raven can't love you she's a heartless demon with no emotions, or should I say was." He said and that's when I snapped.

I tackled him to the ground knocking him down and bringing us both to the ground. I began to punch him in the face until Robin and Cyborg pulled me off of him trying to hold me back from attacking him again. "BeastBoy you need to calm down we aren't going to get anywhere if we continue to attack him. No matter how much he deserves it." Robin said as he gave Malchoir a heated glare. Finally able enough to calm myself down we continued with the interrogation. It had already lasted hours and we still had no luck.

Terra and Starfire were in Raven's room looking for a spell while we were dealing with the idiot. Although it sounds like they had the harder job, but really we did. This guy was giving us a buffet full of crap. Cracking up at the most random times, telling us about how much he hated us, and avoided all of our questions. I couldn't take being anywhere around this douche anymore. When I finally gave up on asking him for answers I walked out of the room and up to the roof to get some air.

I opened the door and was greeted by cool air. I hadn't noticed it was night yet, mostly because we were so busy trying to save Raven. I walked down towards the edge of the roof. Sitting down I stared at the alive city in front of me. The lights seemed to twinkle off the water surrounding the tower. I looked up at the stars and couldn't help but think of Raven. And how many times I came up here to bug her as well. I missed her so much I couldn't imagine living without her. As I continued to look at the stars I heard the door to the roof fly open. I instantly jumped up and looked, Terra was standing there obviously out of breath. "BeastBoy we found the spell."

A/N
Okay so I know the whole liquid and spell thing is pretty weird but trust me it's going to make sense and yeah I was kind of planning for it to end like this and the whole weird thing was my only idea so. Well I hope you enjoyed the chapter and I apologize for the long waits between updates I just had a hard time figuring out what to write and how to end this story. I really do hope you enjoyed this chapter and will vote and comment. So this story has gotten 10k reads and I am unbelievably grateful thank you all so much. Honestly I didn't expect that many people to read my story, and I just am so grateful thank you all.
