Fall to Pieces

Chapter two

I walked quietly past the main ops room and made my way to the main hallway where the huge front door was. I saw BeastBoy sitting down in a chair. He was dressed in a purple t-shirt, black jeans, leather jacket, and green sneakers. I cleared my throat and BeastBoy instantly brightened up when he saw me. I blushed. "Wow Rae you look amazing." BeastBoy said. I smiled as he grabbed my hand and took me out of the Titans Tower.

I followed BeastBoy, who was a hawk, to downtown Jump City. I was very nervous I haven't been out much since the incident and my stomach was full of butterflies. I followed BeastBoy all the way to the Pizza Place where he changed back and smiled as I landed on the ground. "So we're going to eat now?" I asked since it was only four in the afternoon. "Nah how about a movie?" BeastBoy asked and I nodded. I let BeastBoy drag me to the theater and I looked up at the movies showing. "So Rae what movie?" BeastBoy asked. "How about Nightmare On Elm Street?" I asked and BeastBoy nodded as he paid for the tickets.

We sat in that movie for almost two hours and I heard BeastBoy scream like a little girl. It made me laugh a few times, but he was holding onto me for dear life the whole movie. I rolled my eyes as the credits rolled and I pulled BeastBoy off of me. "You ready to get some pizza?" I asked and BeastBoy nodded. "So did you like the movie, Rae?" BeastBoy asked taking my hand but I pulled it away. "Yeah I like the movie, the only bad part was that you were holding onto me the whole movie like a scared five year old girl." I said and BeastBoy put a hand over his heart in mock hurt. "Rae that burns." BeastBoy said smiling as we walked down the street yet again to the pizza place.

Tonight was amazing. It was so much fun to just talk to BeastBoy. We were walking home instead of flying it took too much energy and I felt exhausted. After pizza somehow BeastBoy talked me into going to the arcade. For some reason it was fun beating BeastBoy at most of the video games. I was still smiling as we walked down the hallway and we both stood at my door. "Well I had a fun time tonight BeastBoy." I said smiling. "Yeah I had fun too." BeastBoy said as he leaned closer and closer. Before he could put his lips on mine I put my hands on his chest and pushed him back. "I'll see you later goodnight." I said and slipped into my room not waiting for BeastBoy's reaction.

BEASTBOY'S P.O.V
I stood outside of Raven's door for what seemed like forever. I half expected her to open the door and we would kiss. After a while I put my hands in my pockets and walked to my room. I was really looking forward to a kiss, I thought we were on a date. I guess I never really understood girls that much. Maybe she still needs some more time but I'm not so sure. I just wish I could talk to someone about this.

I stood outside of Cyborg's door and knocked I at least hoped he was in his room. When I got no answer I knew he was working on the T-car again.

The garage door was open and I saw Cyborg underneath the hood of the car working and humming. I held back a chuckle and cleared my throat. "Hey B what's up?" Cyborg asked closing the hood and wiping his hands on a rag. "Well uh, I have this friend.. yeah and this friend needs some help with girls." I said rubbing the back of my neck. "Oh really and what's this friend's name?" Cyborg asked with a smirk. "Well uh his name is Joey, yeah Joey. And he just had a date or he thought it was a date with this girl he really really likes. So he leaned in for a kiss and she ran into her room and just said goodnight. Maybe she didn't like him the way he thought she did or maybe it wasn't a date at all." I said all in a rush. "Well did Joey try to talk to the girl?" Cyborg asked. "Nah he left her room." I said shrugging. "Ok BeastBoy come on I know your Joey, but who's the girl?" Cyborg asked. "Uh it's Rraven." I said blushing as Cyborg's human eye went wide with shock. "You mean Raven, our Raven, the one who slaps you, throws you out of windows, calls you an idiot, and flat out hates you?" Cyborg asked. "Yeah I guess she doesn't really hate me because she said yes. Well we went out and then when we got to her door she said she had a fun time and then I leaned in for the kiss and she pushed me away." I said hanging my head down in defeat. "She's probably not ready for another relationship I thought you would figure that out." Cyborg said. "So you think maybe she's not ready to trust someone with her heart cause of Malchoir?" I asked and Cyborg gave me a nod. "Then what am I going to do?" I asked. "Well show her that you won't break her heart. Do something so amazing that she will let you in." I instantly had an amazing idea.

I sat in my room and wrote down my amazing plan that will get Raven to open up to me. I sighed contently and then set my plan down I flopped onto the top bunk of my bed. I fell asleep and dreamed of the reaction Raven would have tomorrow.
