Chapter twenty three

Beast Boy's P.O.V

I was hiding waiting for Raven or Malchoirs next attack. Although I still didn't understand I continued to fight for the hope that I will get Raven back my Raven. I began to slowly rise to see if I could see Raven or Malchoir when I heard a scream. But not just anyone's scream I heard Raven.

Out of instinct I took off running towards her room were I heard the scream. I bounded down the hallway and saw the door open. Slowly I walked outside the door to see Terra standing over an unconscious Raven. I grabbed a rock and threw it at her head knocking her out. I didn't know what else to do as I watched Terra fall unconscious on the floor. I slowly walked over to Raven and looked at her peaceful face, how can an angel be a traitor. I still couldn't believe she would betray us because I know Raven she would never do this to us to me.

The others came bursting through the door and tried to process the scene in front of them. Terra and Raven were both unconscious on the ground as well as Malchoir and I was stroking Raven's cheek like a stalker. What a great photo album opportunity. "Beast Boy what happened?" Robin asked as he walked over to me. I stood up and stared back into his masked eyes, "Well I found Raven and Malchoir unconscious already and I knocked Terra out so." I said putting my hands in my pockets casually as if this kind of thing happened all the time. I shrugged my shoulders again, I could tell he was trying to process and make sense of the situation.

I turned around towards Raven, my dark beauty, I picked her up bridal style and carried her out of the room into the medical room we had downstairs. Once we got there I laid her down on the bed not bothering to hook her up to any machines. One she was likely just unconscious and two I didn't know how to work the machines and I didn't really want to risk breaking them.

Raven's P.O.V

I woke up to a bright light for a second I thought I was dead until my eyes adjusted and I realized I was just looking at a bright light. Taking in my surroundings that seemed so familiar I finally brought the pieces together, I was in the medical room in the tower. The other titans probably hate me for destroying the tower and joining on the side with the villain. Now I was the traitor and it felt terrible.

I sat up in the bed quickly and saw BeastBoy asleep on a chair next to me, he looked so adorable. I could hear light snoring from his body and I just couldn't help but smile at how childish he is. After I took in how adorable he was I got out of the bed and quietly walked down the hallways taking in what I had done and hopefully avoiding the others.

I walked slowly towards my door my head down. I couldn't bear looking at the destruction I had caused to the tower. As I neared my room I heard voices, well I heard my teammates arguing.

"Raven is our friend she would not do this to us!" "Well she already so she betrayed us just like Terra did!!" "No there must've been a reason she was kidnapped maybe Malchoir and Terra made her do this."

They were mostly arguing on what they should do with me. Although I already knew what I should do. I quickly walked the rest of my way too my room silent as a mouse. As I creaked open the door my room was kind of messy form the battle only a few hours before. I stepped over the wall fragments and opened a small drawer close to my bed. Pulling out a sheet of paper and a pen along with a bottle of pills and a blade.

It's been a while since I last thought of this option. After the Malchoir ordeal I had begun hiding blades and pills in my room. Just in case for such an occasion when I felt like the only way out was through death. Taking a deep breath I began to write down my last words.

Beast Boy's P.O.V

I woke up from my light slumber to see that Raven was no longer in the bed. I sat up in the chair and looked around. 'Maybe she went to get some tea or go to her room.' I shrugged it off and walked out of the medical room to the main ops room where I could hear a faint arguing through the door. I knew it was probably Robin and Cyborg at it again, but this time it was about Raven.

I barged in the door and the two continued to argue and glare the other one down. I didn't know how thought of her to be a traitor but I had a guess it was Robin. Maybe it was just the way I saw him. "No Cy she is a traitor she betrayed us just like Terra did. She is just like any other criminal now." I was right. "No she is one of our best friends we have survived the end of the world together. There is no way she would give up on us now."

I didn't want to take side, as to not make the fighting worse, but I did agree with Cyborg. Our team has had so many great memories that we shared. There is no at Raven decided on her own to come to the tower and betray us. I just couldn't see it, I even pronounced my love for this girl. There is no way Raven would choose Malchoir over us.

I finally fed up with the arguing left the room. As I walked to my room I smelt a faint smell, with my animal senses, I could smell... blood.
