Fall to Pieces

Chapter one

It had been a month, a month since he betrayed me. I have gotten better since then though. No longer do I stare at the chest and wish for the memory to erase from my mind. The whole thing was a simple mistake and I have learned from that horrible mistake. I took a deep breath and quietly but quickly left the sanctuary of my room. I desperately need some herbal tea, it had been a couple of days since I came out of my room and my stomach was growling. I had turned down every chance to hang out with my friends for the past month. The only time I hung out with them for the past month was when Cyborg and BeastBoy made me play stinkball the day he betrayed me. I shook the memories of him from my head and continued on my walk down to the main ops room.

I pulled my hood on tighter I felt uncomfortable because everyone was staring at me. I pretended not to notice and walked into the kitchen. As I was getting the ingredients for my herbal tea I felt someone walk up behind me. "Hey Rae, haven't seen you around lately are you feeling okay?" BeastBoy asked. I rolled my eyes he had been very... overprotective since the whole incident. Well all I did was hug him and it created this whole new bond. I enjoyed BeastBoy's company a lot more than the others now. Mostly it was because he went through the same thing with Terra and it's nice to talk to him. Well only when he's not being a crazy overprotective stalker. "Yes I'm fine." I said making sure my back was facing him. I set the kettle on the stove and avoided eye contact. Although I tried BeastBoy gripped my shoulder and pulled me around. "Are you sure because you look paler." He asked raising an eyebrow. I sighed . "Yes like I said earlier I'm fine, I've just had a hard time meditating." I said turning back around. Well that was an understatement I haven't been able to meditate lately or at all for the past week. Every time I tried to relax His image popped into my head. "Well can I do anything to help?" BeastBoy asked. The kettle began to whistle as I looked BeastBoy down with a glare. "No like I said twice, I'm fine."

I finally made it out of BeastBoy's whatever that was and was walking down the hall to my room. I took a sip of my tea and let a small smile slip into my lips. Although it quickly fell when I saw BeastBoy standing outside of my door.

BEAST BOY'S P.O.V
I scratched the back of my neck knowing she probably didn't want to talk to me. Mostly because she didn't answer. I was about to check the roof when I saw Raven come down the hallway, I smiled. Well speak of the devil. "Hey Rae." I said smiling but all I got was a glare. "What do you want?" Raven replied coldly. I shivered but stood my ground I wasn't afraid of her anymore, well a little bit, but that's not the point. "Well I was just wondering if you would like to go out for a little
bit, you know just the two of us?"

RAVEN'S P.O.V
I instantly froze, I didn't know he liked me that way I always thought that he was still in love with Terra. "Do you mean like a date?" I asked raising an eyebrow. "Well uh it doesn't have to well only if you want it to be." BeastBoy said I smirked as I saw him mumbling and I could feel the nervousness radiating off of him in buckets. "Sure I'll get some other clothes on, I'll met you downstairs." I said as BeastBoy lit up. "AWESOME, I mean cool I'll met you down stairs bye." BeastBoy said running down the hallway. As I walked into my room I heard him scream. "YESSSSSSS!!!!!!" I chuckled and instantly realized I had no street clothes, I was going to regret this but I had to talk to Starfire.

I stood outside of her door, taking a deep breathe I knocked. "Come in." I heard from the other side of the door. It slid open and I stood face to face with Starfire and almost fainted at how much pink was in her room. "Hello friend Raven, would you like to go to the mall of shopping?" Starfire asked. "Sorry I can't I'm going somewhere and I need your advice." I said. Starfire looked at me her face full of shock. "Is it about boys?" Star asked and I nodded she motioned me to her bed and I sat down next to her. "Ok what is the problem Raven, is it BeastBoy?" She asked. "Yeah well I don't have any clothes to wear and he kind of asked me out so do you think I could borrow something?" I asked and Starfire flew to her closet. "Of course friend Raven, I will pick something out for you!" I groaned knowing I would probably be wearing something pink.

I was shocked when Starfire pulled out a blue sundress out of her closet, along with matching shoes. "How about this friend Raven?" Starfire asked holding it out to me. I took the dress and smiled. "I love it Starfire, but why do you have a color other than pink in there?" I asked looking at the dress. "I was going to give that to you for you birthday but I thought this is more important occasion. Have fun on your date and tell me everything." Starfire said. I nodded and walked out of the door to my room. This date might be better than I hoped it was going to be.

I closed my door to my room and ran into my private bathroom. I first needed to fix my hair and then put the dress on. I didn't want to do anything fancy so I just curled the edges of my hair and put on a small touch of makeup. After I had put the dress and the shoes on I didn't recognize myself in the mirror. I looked pretty. I quickly grabbed my purse and looked one more time in the mirror. I opened the door and made my way downstairs.
