Chapter Twenty Six

Terra's P.O.V

Starfire and I were searching through Ravens countless spell books. Once neatly stacked on bookshelves were now scattered all over the floor. I was skimming the many books I could find on spells that Malchoir was talking about. Such as antidotes and bringing someone back to life, but so far nothing. I stole a glance over in Starfire's direction, I could tell by the frown on her face that she had no luck either. Turning back to my stack I kept flipping and skimming.

I knew we were running out of books and out of patience mostly. The boys were probably ready to bash Malchoir's head in. I smiled as I kept looking but instantly frowned when I found nothing once again. I threw that book on the floor frustrated now, but looked to see one last book in my stack. Starfire still had about ten more. So I picked up the book and started looking through it. But instantly stopped when I found this.... Antidotes : Bringing The Dead Back To Life.....I looked through the chapter carefully trying to find the potion. The second to least page showed the antidote I had managed to take from Malchoir, trust me it wasn't that easy.......*shivers*

The ancient looking text said....'This potion may be used as an antidote with a life altering spell. Although this antidote brings loved ones back from the grave, it comes with a deathly price. The one who recites these words : Renebtemnicto will give up their life force and give to the loved one they so desire. To see the steps to use this spell turn to the next page....' I flipped to the next page and read over the steps. "Starfire I found it." I said and she quickly flew over to me and looked over my shoulder. "Good job friend Terra, lets go show friends Cyborg and BeastBoy and boyfriend Robin." She said and we both left Raven's room in a huge mess....oops.

We got down to the room where Malchoir was being held to see Cyborg and Robin giving him a deathly glare. Starfire lightly tapped on the window getting her boyfriends attention. She nodded to him and he came out, I handed him the book which I left on the page. "This should work, all we need to do is have someone drink the liquid and say the spell, easy." I said shrugging but Robin had a frown etched into his face. "One problem, one of us has to give up our own life for hers," He said, "who is that going to be?" I hadn't thought of that. Starfire and Robin looked at each other dreading who would give up their life for hers. "So um before we decided that, where's BeastBoy?" I asked finally noticing that he wasn't there. "He went to get some air he's probably on the roof." Robin said the same frown still on his face.

I left for the roof running quickly up the stairs, I busted the door and stood on the roof trying to catch my breath. He instantly jumped when he saw me, "BeastBoy we found it."

BeastBoy's P.O.V

I was so happy I could just scream, Raven was going to be okay. I would have her back in my arms and tell her how much I love her. Finally I can live my life with her again. I love her so much that these few days have felt like forever without her. Although I didn't notice the grave look Terra had on her face. I had a smile so bright it could probably blind someone. I ran down the stairs to where the other titans were. I opened the door to see Cy, Star, and Robin arguing. "No Star you are not going to give up your life, I need you." Robin said holding her hands. "But boyfriend Robin who should then, we also need Raven." I was so confused. "What are you guys talking about?" I asked. "Well in order to get Raven back we need someone to give up their life." He said. "Ill do it." I said. "No we need you here and so does Raven she will be heartbroken knowing you gave up your life for her."

We continued arguing over this, until.... "Ill do it." We all turned around to see Terra holding the potion. "What?" I asked. "I said I'll do it, I'm just a villain now. And I know Raven would be heartbroken if any of you gave up your life for her." She said. I couldn't get the words out. Either I loose my first love or the love of my life. It hurt knowing I would loose one. "But Terra..." "No, no buts I'm doing it and none of you can change my mind. Come on let's get this over with." She said putting on a small smile. She was so brave and strong, I would miss her although she broke my heart. She was still a friend, and she showed us she could be good. Even if she was the one who helped Raven get in this position.

We all stood in the medical room and stood by the wall. While Terra stood next to Raven's bed. We all said our goodbyes to her, and told her she did a great thing for us. She took a deep breath and drank the green potion. She quickly recited the words stated in the book, "Renebtemnicto." She said and a bright light flashed as Terra fell to the floor.

Terra's P.O.V

I felt like all of my energy was being sucked out of my body. I couldn't stand and fell to the floor. I looked up at the ceiling as it grew a bit brighter. I couldn't help but have a small smile as I took my last breath, I knew it was for good. Finally I did something good.

BeastBoy's P.O.V

We waited a few minutes for any sign that Raven was alive. She had begun to breathe and I couldn't be happier. Although Terra was gone, she would be remembered as Raven's hero. I slowly walked over to the dark beauty and stroked her hair. She slowly began to open her eyes. Looking into those beautiful amethyst eyes, I couldn't help but smile. "Hey Rae." She smiled back. "Hi Garfield." I blushed as she said my name. "I missed you." I said. "I missed you too, Gar." I hummed in response and I looked at her face. "I love you." My smile grew even bigger, if that's even possible. "I love you too."

A/N
AWWWWW sorry needed a fan girl moment. I needed to put a mushy bbrae moment in there to settle my squealing fan girl side. The next chapter will indeed be the last :'( I'm really sad. I really loved this story even though I barely updated. Sorry about that btw. Well anyway I hope you enjoyed the chapter. I apologize I know there is not a lot of Terra bashing but in the end she did a good thing. I still don't like her tho. I still indeed hope you enjoyed the chapter and will vote and comment. I would love to hear your feedback on how this story is. I'm thinking of making a sequel to my other story Runaway. So be on the look out for that. Anyway hope you all have a nice day.
