Chapter three

Raven P.O.V.

I woke up at around six, well I was up for most of the night. I couldn't get the image of BeastBoy's face when I turned down the perfect ending to our 'date'. I sighed as I took off my pajamas and slipped on my leotard and blue cloak. I quickly, yet quietly enough not to wake everyone up, walked down to the main ops room to get a cup of tea. What surprised me the most was that I wasn't alone. "Morning Rae." BeastBoy said sitting at the table eating his tofu eggs. "Its not Rae, its Raven." I snapped. "Okay, morning Rae-ven." I gave a small nod of acceptance and went into the kitchen. BeastBoy followed soon later and put his plate in the sink. I raised an eyebrow and stared at BeastBoy. "Why are you up so early?" I asked. BeastBoy just shrugged and cleaned his plate. I was in full shock, first he's up early, dressed in civilian clothes, ate breakfast, and cleaned the dishes when it wasn't even his turn to do that chore. "Whats wrong Rae?" BeastBo asked leaning against the counter and staring at me. "Are you feeling okay?" I asked completely shocked at how rude and uncomfortable at the awkward silence that had followed her question. "Nothing's wrong, Rae..." I gave BeastBoy a glare. "Raven." I nodded and poured my tea.

A few hours later everyone one else was up and surprised to see BeastBoy not come down for his usual Meat vs. Tofu battle. "Hey has anyone seen BB?" asked Cyborg while the others sat at the table eating, I was on the couch reading. "Yeah he was up at six this morning left an hour ago." I said not even looking up from my book. "Wow that's weird, even for BeastBoy."

BeastBoy P.O.V.
I walked around Jump City until I came to the store I was looking for. Jump Music store. I smiled and pushed the door opened and saw no one was around. I smiled, 'Good now no one will recognize me and this story won't be on the front page.' I thought as I looked at all of the different instruments. I smiled as I pulled down the one I was looking for I played a few notes, perfect this is exactly what I was looking for.

Raven P.O.V
It was strange not having BeastBoy around for almost all day. When lunch came I expected BeastBoy to come knocking at me door and invite me to eat lunch with the team. Just like he always did. But he never showed, for some reason I felt disappointed I don't know why though.

I had been meditating all day and was getting extremely bored. Even though no one came to my door to bother me all day, I should be happy about that but it just felt weird. I didn't like the eerie feeling of being alone in my room today.I shook my head. 'Whats wrong with you Raven!! This is your lucky day no BeastBoy or anyone to bother you, you should be happy!' I looked around the room expecting to feel some kind of happiness, but it never came. I only felt more alone.

BeastBoy P.O.V
After I waited like twenty minutes for the guy to come to the counter I checked out and bought a cool case for my instrument. The last thing I had to do was practice what my surprise was for Raven, I hoped she would like it.

I sat down on a bench in the park, it was around noon and not that many people were around. It was a dark and stormy day. 'Rae would love it' I thought as I strummed the first few notes and began to sing the lyrics.

Raven P.O.V
I had enough of pacing and sitting in my room so I made my way down to the main ops room hoping for a distraction. To my surprise no one was in there. 'That's why it was so quiet.' I thought as I set my book down on the coffee table and looked out at the dark, gray, and stormy clouds outside. I sighed but smiled anyway. Even though I didn't want to I eventually drifted off into a light sleep.

I woke up to a roll of thunder and a flash of lightning. I looked at the clock I had only slept a few minutes before my rude awakening. I groaned and laid down on the couch covering my face with my book.

BeastBoy P.O.V
I just finished the song when I heard thunder and lightning. I smiled as I put the instrument away and carried it with me back to the tower. I eventually knew I would get soaked if I didn't fly back. So I turned into a pterodactyl and took off towards the tower with the instrument in my claws.
