Wednesday Addams POV:

My eyes open and all I see is pink. Pink covers, colored pink hair, pink blankets. SO. MUCH. PINK. I think it was easier for me to tolerate all of this when it was dark out. I begin to sit up but stop myself when I notice Enid stirring in her sleep.

I don't want to disturb the girl, she looks so peaceful. Enid really needs all of the rest she can get right now, her injury's must be painful. She continues moving around, shaking the bed slightly as she grips me tighter.

"Good morning Wednesday." The girl mumbles, opening her bright blue eyes to meet mine.

For once, I think mornings can be something good. This girl is making me a little brighter, maybe instead of wearing my typical midnight black I'll wear charcoal black today. I'm feeling colorful this morning.

"Good morning, Enid." I say, leaning back down to kiss the girls forehead.

If you told me two months ago that I would be sleeping in a pink bed cuddled up next to my bubbly roommate right now, I would have called you insane and possibly would have punched you... yet here I am.

"I like waking up next to you, Wens. I'm so happy im going back to school on a Friday, it's going to take a lot out of me today."

"If you need any help on your missed assignments just let me know, okay?"

"Thanks Wens. By the way, tomorrow is our one month anniversary!"

"Oh, I thought people only celebrated once a year after they get married."

"Well, I've heard teens typically celebrate every month together for at least their first year. It's a normie thing but I want to make our one month special!"

"I like this normie tradition then, Sinclair. I just think it's silly because it is obvious there will be many more months of celebration then."

Her eyes light up excitedly, staring like I'm the moon she howls to every month. I must have said something the girl liked.

"You think we are going to be together for a while, Addams?" She says raising an eyebrow.

"Enid there are very, very few people I enjoy the company of. You happen to be one of those people. If I didn't see you in my future I would never have kissed you that day."

She crashes into my arms on her bed. I enjoy the sentiment but all I spoke was the truth. I quickly grasp the girls head, avoiding her wound to not cause any pain. We settle into the embrace, soaking in each others affection.

"Wens, I told some of our friends about us yesterday."

"Finally, now I don't have to entertain Xavier's advances. He is okay as a friend but he keeps trying to date me. He is like a pesky mosquito that I can't shew away."

"Yeah, I want all of Nevermore to know that you are mine and only mine."

"You're quite a territorial wolf, aren't you, Sinclair."

The girls cheeks grow a natural blush, surely embarrassed by being called out. I simply don't understand the reason to her embarrassment, there is little Enid could say or do that could make me dislike the girl. I've grown accustomed to her adorable awkwardness and all of this girls moods.

"I didn't think I was until I saw Xavier flirt with you. I guess I do follow that wolf stereotype." She says while leaning in to kiss me.
