Christmas Eve

This will feature pretty much every main and side character on Christmas Eve cuz I'm feeling festive, muah!!

Divina's POV:

It's Christmas Eve and my family is still on another job, so much for 'family and togetherness.' It's okay though, my girlfriend is here and we are making some blood hot chocolate right now.

She's great, Yoko's always happy and vibrant. I love how she always speaks her mind and is always here when I need her. We also invited Bianca to our Christmas Eve festivities.

He doesn't have any family right now, so we have been kinda bonding over that. Plus, I enjoy Bianca's company, he always adds such a pleasurable element to Yoko and I's dynamic. He's a fun, hardworking guy who often gets misjudged due to his guarded personality.

I don't know, there's just something special about him that I enjoy. Jeez, how did I get so sidetracked from the blood-hot chocolate?

I quickly finish stirring the boiling milk as Yoko chops up some chocolate, adding it to the pot.

"Div, I got you a gift to open tonight before we go to bed," Yoko says, hugging me from behind as I stir.

"Aww, thanks baby, I got you a few things too, you can open one of them tonight if you want, It could be our little tradition."

"Really? I hope you didn't spend a lot." Yoko says as she kisses my cheek, taking off her glasses since the sun is going down.

Yoko and I are two different types of vampires. I don't get affected by daylight but I'm also not as strong as Yoko is at night. It's a trade-off, but we both understand each other's cravings and needs. I'm so lucky to have her, she is the best girlfriend ever.

"Don't worry about what I spent, you're gonna love your gifts though, at least I hope you do," I say through a tinge of awkward laughter.

"I know I will. Is the hot cocoa ready? I'll add blood to our individual mugs instead of the pot so B can drink some when she gets here too."

"Good idea, and yeah, the hot cocoas ready. Can you fill half of my mug with blood? I'm pretty hungry tonight."

"Okay babes, you could always feed off me too. You know I like it," she says, giving me a wink as she lets go of me, pouring blood into each of our mugs before I add in the hot chocolate.

"Mmm, tempting. I will later."

"Okay. Before B gets here, there's something I actually need to talk to you about."

My stomach flips, the dreaded words have been spoken, this can't be good.

"What about, Yoko?" I ask.

"Oh nothing bad, I just want to be transparent about how I've been feeling. You know I love you sooo much right?" Yoko reassures.

"Mhm, I'm sensing a 'but' coming."

"Well your butt looks amazing in that outfit, ugh I'm getting sidetracked already. Okay, so I love you, and you will always be my number one, but lately, in addition to being incredibly attracted to your amazingness and piercing blue eyes, I keep finding myself looking at Bianca too. It has me questioning my stances on monogamy and it's not fair to you if I keep these feelings to myself."

Woah, that was not what I was expecting. Does Yoko like both me and Bianca? For some reason I don't mind it, now that it's out there, I find myself quite attracted to Bianca as well. We've shared some pretty deep things and I wouldn't mind if it progressed further, but then where does that leave Yoko and I?
