**Chapter Two**
As her last words came through the phone, a wave of dizziness came over me. After 17 years of having nothing to do with my father, today was finally the day he appears. And after death, no less.
Before I could even speak, Mrs. McBride continued. "Erin, according to your father's Will, he requested that on your 18th birthday you receive the information needed to gain what he has left you. Are you supplied with a pen and paper currently, Miss Lyon?"
"No ma'am, but I do believe I can remember this conversation." I replied.
"Okay, first I would like to inform you that in order to obtain your inheritance you will need to take a flight to Seattle, Washington. We will provide it, but you need your identification with you. Can you leave tonight? We have already prepared your flight ticket in the service center of the Orlando Airport for the 9:15 flight this evening." Mrs. McBride stated quickly.
At this point, Sara was giving me questioning looks and before she could speak I simply shook my head. If I spoke of this to her now I was almost sure I would freak out, but she knew that immediately by the look in my eye.
However, in regards to the flight I knew I had to make a decision that could ruin everything for me, or do quite the opposite.
"Yes, the 9:15 flight is perfect. I'll pick up the ticket in the service center as soon as I arrive."

The rest of the day seemed to go by as a blur. After I had hung up the phone, I was questioned quite thoroughly by Sara while we were in the car on the way to my house. She didn't know how to react, but most of all she knew exactly what was going through my mind: Jessica, my sister.
When we left Starbucks, it was about 5:30pm. I had about two hours to get ready to leave, and I knew I couldn't tell Jessica... she never would have let me go. So, when I arrived home I told her I was staying the night at Sara's.
Sure, I lied straight through my teeth, but if there was anything I was good at, it was lying at the right moment. Besides, it was a Friday, and it was my birthday. Of course, she wouldn't say no. And as I thought, she didn't.
So I packed quite a large bag and rushed out the door, quickly giving my niece and nephew a sad goodbye hug. I hope I see these two again soon... I thought to myself. They inspired me to sing and play music, they inspired me for everything really. Leaving them was probably the hardest part. But, it had to be done.
As we drove down I-4 to Orlando, thoughts yet again flooded my mind. I couldn't help but feel like this was the start of a new beginning for me.
A better beginning.
**45 minutes later**
My flight was leaving in 20 minutes, and Sara was sitting with me awaiting my departure. I know I should have told my sister goodbye, but if I did she would have known something was going on. My only option was to call her when I got to Washington, and the likely response to that would be a pile of my things tossed out to the curb. However, I'd have to mend my mistakes later. This was something I HAD to do.
"Flight 215 leaving for Seattle, Washington is now boarding. The plane leaves in 10 minutes." A voice overhead projected across the Orlando Airport.
As I picked up my bags and turned to hug Sara goodbye, she was on the verge of tears. And now, so was I. I always pushed to keep my emotions inside to avoid being hurt, but after everything that has happened today, I finally gave in.
"I'll miss you Erin. Make sure you call and text me, let me know what happens! I love you!" Sara smiled sadly, with small tears sliding down her cheeks as she hugged me tightly.
"I will, and then when I come back we can go back to Starbucks!" We both laughed with lighthearted smiles.
"Now go! You'll miss your flight!" Sara yells as she pushes me towards the flight terminal.
I never knew how much could change in less than 24 hours...
***
I know, it's still about Erin. But the boys should be introduced by Chapter Four or Five! This is all just important information leading up to how she meets them :) Remember, keep voting for more updates! I don't expect a lot since it's a new fanfic, but still!
The next promoted song is...
Alive With The Glory of Love by Say Anything
It's pretty good, and it's fast paced which most people seem to like! Let me know what you think :)
