A few days had passed and Hershel had deemed Carl well enough to get some fresh air. Alison thought it was nice to see the boy up and about as she walked through the camp to Daryl's tent. Ali was just grateful that Carl was okay and she had been able to help to some degree.

Eventually, she reached his tent. It had been her idea to bring him a book to keep him occupied, since he still wasn't meant to be moving around too much. Ali crouched down to enter the tent, where Daryl was poking holes in the vinyl windows with one of his arrows.

"That bored, huh?" Alison asked as she entered the tent.

"S'pose so" Daryl replied in his thick southern accent. "What're ya' doing here, anyway?" He asked, moving his attention from his arrow to the woman in front of him.

"Brought you a present" Alison joked, handing him a hardcover book which Daryl took, and flicked through and scoffed, examining the cover of 'The Great Gatsby'.

"What, no pictures?" He joked, to which Alison rolled her eyes.

"Not like I had too many to choose from. Anyway, I need to go do something today so I've gotta go but give Hershel a shout if you need anything?" She said to which Daryl nodded and she left and began heading over for gun practice with Shane.

They decided that today would be a good day to take those who wanted to learn down to the shooting range they had prepared. To the Swans surprise, both Beth and Patricia had asked to join; having gained reluctant approval from Hershal.

Eventually Alison joined the others and everyone made their way down to the range, not wanting to create too much sound around the farm as to not attract any walkers nor make Hershal uncomfortable. William, Lucy, Harper and Ali, alongside Rick and Shane, oversaw the practice, stepping in whenever they needed.

Shane looked to Alison with a smile, which she reciprocated. Obviously they hadn't spoken about their kiss the night before, but now wasn't the time anyway, especially with Lucy around.

"So, Ali - what shooting experience do you have? Just so I know what level to start you at" Shane asked, raising a brow.

"A little, I've shot glock's in the past and a few revolvers. I can aim pretty well but never practised enough to get really good" Alison responded "I was always more interested in archery" She added.

"Alright well, this here is a Glock 17. Why don't you load it up for me and see if you can hit one of those targets over there?" He asked, handing her the gun with the magazine separate.

Alison nodded, taking the weapon from him and holding it for a brief moment to gauge the weight of it before shooting it. She loaded the magazine into the gun and repositioned herself so that her stance was correct before she removed the safety, aimed the gun and fired at the target. To Shane's surprise, she hit it just a few millimetres from the bullseye.

Shane remained impressed with Ali's shooting abilities, watching her as she continued to hit the targets. Alison wasn't as good as her sister with a gun but she wasn't useless either.

"Damn girl" Shane mused "Gotta say, I didn't think you had it in you but I'm impressed" He smirked "Gotta move you up to the advanced class" He added.

"Is that even a real thing?" Alison asked, arching a brow.

"Sure it is," Shane responded with a boyish smile.

"Actually I was meaning to ask you something, a favour" Alison began, her words flirty, turning to him and unloading the gun to pass it back to him
