The bang on the bullet echoed all around the group, her body falling in slow motion. Lucy looked back at her sister to see her almost on the floor with shock. Everything had been far too fast paced and it scared her that this was once the place she felt safest, but it also made her feel grateful that her siblings were still here with her.

No one was moving, just crying. After a short while, Beth ran over to her mothers body, still dressed in the white nightgown. Harper wanted to be useful, so she went over, comforting the young girl.

Harper crouched behind Beth as she turned the body over, wanting to say goodbye. Everyone stood by, many feeling guilty for masecreing their family and friends. Suddenly the walker reached up and grabbed at both Harper and Beth.

Everyone instantly panicked and rushed over to the two who were hooked by the walker. Harper struggled against it, making sure it wasn't going to bite him or Beth. William felt his heart jump, rushing forward as Lucy pulled her throwing knife from her holster but couldn't get a clear shot with everyone crowding round. Ali, without even realising it herself, took an arrow from her quiver and placed it quickly. She drew back the arrow and let it fly, hitting the walker straight in the side of head, missing everyone in its path.

The Greenes, alongside the 3 Swans, walked back to the house, knowing that everyone was going to need time to process what had just gone down. Shane began to follow the traumatised group back to the house, talking on and on about how Herhsal must have known Sophia was in the barn.

Once they arrived at the porch both Maggie and Lucy were boiling with anger, both for different reasons. Hershal turned around, having had enough for Shanes attitude. "Otis put those people in the barn. Maybe he found her and out her in there before he was killed"

"You expect me to believe that?" Shane spoke in an angered and bitter tone. "Do I look like an idiot to you?"

"More like a psychopath" Lucy commented, getting a shot down look by Rick in the process of him holding him back.

The commotion continued, everyone yelling at each other until Shane stepped towards Hershal in a menacing manner. "Let me tell you something"

"Hey. Don't touch him!" Maggie yelled and slapped Shane across the face. "Haven't you done enough"

Alison lingered as well, ready to get between Shane if she had to. The way he treated Hershel showed a side to him that she hadn't seen before, a side that Lucy had tried to warn her about.

With those words, everyone began to walk back inside, Lucy remaining just in case. "I mean it, off my land" Hershal ended the conversation, Lucy following behind him closely.

The Swan siblings and Harper made their way upstairs, wanting to give Hershel and his family some space after what had happened. Although they all disagreed about what the right thing to do with the monsters was, it wasn't fair to ignore the grief they would have been feeling.

Alison was still pretty shaken, but William and Lucy seemed to have calmed down quite a bit. They were much more equipped to deal with the new world than she was and it scared her that she'd be seen as a liability.

"What the hell happened to your arm?" William asked Ali, breaking her away from her thoughts.

She looked down at her wrist instinctively, hoping not to see a bite that she hadn't noticed. Instead, she saw purple marks forming in the shape of fingerprints, something left over from Shane's outburst earlier. Alison shook her head "It's nothing." She replied looking at her brother.
