Vibha's voice was soft, but her words carried the weight of a mother's deepest hope. "I want both of you to forget everything that happened in the past... and forgive each other."

She looked at Akshu, her eyes pleading. "And I also want you to come back to us."

For a moment, the room fell into silence. Siddharth and Akshu exchanged a long, unreadable glance — years of unspoken pain lingering between them.

Vibha's gaze moved toward Akshu again. "Akshu, you will stay with us... right?"

Akshu hesitated. "W-Well, Mumma, I—"

Before she could finish, Siddharth cut in, "Of course, Mumma. We have forgiven each other. And she is coming back."

Vibha's face broke into a smile — her heart finally at ease. Across the room, Abhishek and Faisu exchanged surprised looks.

Akshu: "But—"

Siddharth interrupted once more, "Mom, you should rest now. We'll be back in a minute." Without giving her a chance to protest, he grabbed Akshu's hand and led her out of the room.

After they left, Ranveer sat beside Vibha, talking to her in a soft voice, trying to ease her mind. Nearby, Faisu leaned closer to Abhishek and whispered, "Bhai... what is happening?"

"I don't know," Abhishek replied quietly.

"Do you think Jannat and Buddy have really forgiven each other?" Faisu asked, eyes narrowing.

"I hope they have... at least for Mom's sake."

"Hmmm..."

They both fell into thoughtful silence.

In the hospital backyard...

As soon as they reached the back garden, Akshu jerked her hand free. Anger flared in her voice. "What the hell, Siddharth? Why did you tell Mumma that I forgave you? And that I'm coming back? Listen carefully — I will never forgive you. Not until my last breath. Forget about it!"

Siddharth remained calm. His voice was steady. "Are you done? If so, listen to me now."

Akshu turned her face away, "I didn't ask for your forgiveness. So remove that thought from your mind," he continued.

"Then why lie to Mom?" she shot back.

"Because the doctor warned us not to make her sad. If you had refused, she would've fallen more ill. Neither of us wants that, right?"

Tears welled in Akshu's eyes, but her stubborn resolve remained.
"I can't stay under the same roof as you."

Siddharth folded his hands, voice pleading. "Please... stay for Mom's sake. I'll do anything you ask — just don't make her sad."

Akshu's tears finally fell. She held his hands tightly. "Don't do this to me... I'll stay for Mom and Dad. But I have one condition."

Siddharth's face brightened. "Any condition. It's a yes from me."

"Listen carefully first. I'll come to Nigam Mansion... but only when you're not there. Only one of us will stay in the house at a time."

Siddharth was stunned. "What? That's impossible! We told Mom we've forgiven each other. If we don't stay together, what will it look like? Don't you understand?"

Akshu replied coldly. "You're the one who told her that lie, not me. Now choose — continue with this lie or tell her the truth."

Siddharth's voice broke. "How can you do this to me?"

"The same way you did to me ten years ago. Remember?" she shot back, eyes blazing.

"At least give me a chance to explain."

"I don't want any explanations," she said flatly.

"You're not my Akshu anymore... you're Jannat Zubair now."

"Whatever," she replied without emotion.

"Don't say things you'll regret later."

"I'm going back to Mom. Think carefully before you come."

Without another word, she walked away, leaving Siddharth alone, his heart sinking. "Akshu... please don't do this. One day, the truth will come out... and you will regret this."

Wiping away his tears, Siddharth turned to leave. But as he turned back, he saw Avi standing there — her eyes shimmering with unshed tears.

"Avi... when did you come?" he asked softly.

"I heard everything."

Without saying anything, Siddharth hugged Avneet. Avneet didn't say anything and let Siddarth take the comfort he needed.
