The next morning, the breakfast table was filled with chatter and clinking cutlery as the Nigam family enjoyed a peaceful start to the day. In the middle of the calm, little Abhinav approached Abhi, holding a file close to his chest.
"Papa..." he called softly.
Abhi, still chewing, looked up. "Hmmm?" he responded. Abhinav handed him the file. Wiping his hands with a napkin, Abhi took the file and flipped through it. His eyes widened in surprise.
"A film...?" he whispered, stunned.
"What happened, Abhi?" Vaish asked curiously.
"He got a film. In his first project itself," Abhi announced in disbelief.
Vibha's face lit up with joy. "Oh wow! Come here, Abhinav," she said warmly, pulling the boy closer to kiss his forehead.
Abhi, still wrapping his head around the news, asked, "How did you get this, beta?"
Abhinav hesitated, glancing nervously at Siddharth. Reading the boy's unease, Sid stepped in with a calm smile.
"Let me explain, dada. The director of this film is my school friend. I heard he needed a child artist to play the hero's childhood role. I requested him to consider Abhinav for an audition—and he agreed."
Abhinav immediately turned to his father, eyes pleading. "Papa, please... I really wanted to do this role."
Abhi smiled, finally understanding, and signed the papers. Overjoyed, Abhinav ran toward him—but instead of hugging Abhi, he ran right past him and into Sid's arms. Everyone burst into laughter at the scene.
"How unfair!" Abhi joked, faking a pout.
Siddharth cheekily stuck out his tongue. Jan teased, "Looks like Abhinav loves Ashu more than his dad."
Abhi sighed dramatically while Jan and Sid exchanged a triumphant high-five. Jan stared at her hand for a second after the gesture, a glimmer of hope quietly blooming in her heart.
Months passed. Abhinav's shooting schedule wrapped up, with Vaish or Abhi always accompanying him to the sets. Due to Siddharth's packed commitments, he only managed a visit once or twice. After the film's release, Abhinav's stellar performance earned him another movie offer—this time as the lead in a children's film.
In the meantime, as things steadily mended between Siddharth and Jannat, she and Faisu decided to get married. Jan wished to marry on the same date as Sid and Avneet's wedding—and to her luck, the date was available. With some persuasion from Khushi, who desperately wanted to witness her parents' wedding, even Sid and Avi agreed to remarry. Initially reluctant, they gave in to their daughter's request.
Meanwhile, Abhi accepted Sid's decision to transfer his equity share of the Nigam Empire. Sid, now fully focused on developing Active Brand, worked tirelessly. In no time, Active Brand soared to new heights. Rumors began swirling—claims that the Nigam brothers had fought and Sid had resigned—but the family paid no heed. They knew the truth: it was planned, a natural evolution of Sid's dreams.
A grand auditorium glowed with lights and applause. The hall was brimming with celebrities, industrialists, and influential figures. The host stepped up to the mic.
"The next award is for Best New Tycoon of the Year, and it will be presented by none other than Mr. Ranveer Nigam!"
Ranveer walked up with a sealed envelope and trophy. He opened the cover, smiled with pride, and announced, "The Best New Tycoon award goes to... Mr. Siddharth Nigam!"
Cheers erupted. Abhi and Jan jumped from their seats, hugging Sid tightly. Vibha's eyes welled with tears, while Khushi and Abhinav began hooting loudly. Sid climbed the stage and embraced his father warmly.
"Congratulations, my pride," Ranveer said, voice thick with emotion.
"Thank you, Dad," Sid replied, accepting the trophy.
As the two began to descend from the stage, the host stopped them. "One more award, Mr. Ranveer. We'd like you to present this too."
Sid returned to his seat, immediately swarmed by Khushi and Abhinav, who jumped on him in excitement. Abhi and Jan followed with tight hugs, and finally Vaish and Avi joined in.
"Congratulations, my love," Avi whispered, embracing him.
Sid held her back with a soft smile. "Congratulations to you too."
"Why me?" she asked, puzzled.
"Because now you're the wife of the Best New Tycoon," he said, a hint of mischief in his tone.
Avi chuckled.
Ranveer opened the next envelope. His hands trembled slightly, and tears clouded his eyes.
"The next Business Tycoon award goes to... Mr. Abhishek Nigam."
A stunned silence followed. Abhi sat frozen. Sid nudged him.
"Dada..."
"Huh?"
"Go!"
"Yeah..."
Abhi slowly stood and climbed the stage. Ranveer hugged him tightly and handed him the award—his pride evident in every gesture.
Later, the Nigam family was heading home in two cars. In one sat Faisu, Jannat, Ranveer, Vibha, and Abhinav; in the other were Siddharth, Avneet, Khushi, and Abhishek, Vaishnavi.
Ranveer gazed out the window, a soft smile playing on his lips. Jan, watching from the mirror, asked gently, "Dad?"
"Hmmm?"
"Why are you smiling like that?"
Vibha chuckled. "Because today he gave awards to both his sons."
Faisu added with a smirk, "Honestly, I didn't think they'd both win."
Ranveer turned to Jan. "Akshu, is everything ready at home?"
"Yeah!" she confirmed cheerfully.
Abhinav, curious, piped up, "What are you all talking about?"
"You'll see when we get there," Ranveer answered with a wink.
Faisu and Jannat's car arrived first. When Sid and Abhi got home, their eyes were blindfolded. Avneet and Vaish guided them carefully into the house.
"What is going on?" Sid grumbled.
"Can someone please tell us?" Abhi echoed.
"Just keep quiet," Avni insisted.
"You'll find out soon," Vaish said firmly.
Finally, they stopped and removed the blindfolds. Before them stood two large posters and a beautifully decorated room.
"Woah!" Sid exclaimed, eyes wide.
Jan grinned. "How's the decoration?"
"Superb!" Sid said with a grin.
"Let's cut the cake!" Khushi shouted.
Everyone gathered around. The cake was cut, and a joyous family photo was taken—capturing not just a moment, but a lifetime of battles fought and won together.
