They come back with a box of the weapons we bought. Joyce puts her hand in the box and searches.
"What is this?" Joyce asks.
"Why don't you ask your son? We found it in his car." My dad says.
"What?" Joyce asks in disbelief.
"Why are you going through my car?" Jonathan asks aggressively.
"Is that really the question you should be asking right now?" My dad says angrily, " I want to see you in my office." Pointing at me and Jonathan.
"You won't believe us." I say.
"Why don't you give me a try?" My dad says. I can tell he's never been this disappointed and angry at me.
We tell him everything that happened.

"You say blood draws this thing?" My dad asks looking at the picture Jonathan took.
"We don't know." Jonathan says.
"It's just a theory." Nancy says. Joyce sighs and talks with Jonathan outside while I talk with my dad inside.

"So, what, is this Steve your boyfriend?" He asks.
"Gross. No. He's an asshole." I say. I told him everything that happened in the party and the cinema thing but nothing else.
"I'm sorry about everything." I say.
"We'll talk about it after everything is over, okay kid?" He says and I nod when we hear yelling. I follow my dad.

"Ma'am I need you to calm down." Callahan says to this woman and her kid.
"What is your name, deputy?" She asks him.
"Well, I'm an officer." Callahan chuckles.
"Name and badge number, both of you!" She demands. I roll my eyes.
"What the hell is going on here?" My dad asks.
"Chief..." Powell says when the lady interrupts him.
"These men are humiliating my son!" The lady shouts.
"No, no, no. That's not true!" Callahan says.
"There was some kind of fight, Chief." Powell says.
"A psychotic child broke his arm!" The lady yells.
"A little girl, Chief. A little one." Callahan says.
"That tone! Do you hear that tone?" The lady yells.
"Honestly, I'm just trying to state a fact." Callahan says.
"A little girl broke your arm?" I ask laughing at the kid.
"And made me piss my pants..." the kid mutters looking down.
"What?" Powell snorts.
"Excuse me?" I laugh.
"I don't have time for this. Will you please get her statement and get her out." My dad says and walks off.
"What'd the girl look like?" Powell asks.
"She had no hair and she was bleeding from her nose. Like a freak!" The kid shouts.
"What'd you just say?" My dad asks turning around and coming back.
"I said she's a freak!" The kid shouts.
"No, her hair. What did you say about her hair?" I ask.
"Her heads shaved." He says. Shit, I didn't tell my dad about El, "she doesn't even look like a girl. And.."
"And what?" My dad asks.
"Tell the man, Troy." The lady says.
"She can... do things." Troy says.
"What kind of things?" My dad asks. He knew something about her too.
"Like... make you fly. And piss yourself..." Troy says embarrassed.
"Was she alone?" My dad asks.
"No, she always hangs out with those losers." Troy says.
"Losers? What losers?" My dad asks.

STEVES POV

After loosing the cops, me, Carol and Tommy park outside a store and they get a cold drink and aspirin for the pain. I can't believe I said those things to Lizzy and did that to her. She will never forgive me. What's wrong with me?

Tommy comes out and gives me coca-cola and I put it on my face and eat aspirin.

"You owe me $1.20." He says, "don't worry, he'll need more that aspirin when we're done with him and his freaky girlfriend."
"Yeah, if the creep ever gets out. The cops should just lock him up forever. Did you see the look on his face?" Carol gasps and mocks his face. Her and Tommy both laugh. They're such assholes.
"He probably had that same look whoever he killed his brother, right?" Tommy laughs.
"Oh, god. I just got an image of him making that face while he and Lizzy sre screwing." Carol laughs and so does Tommy. That's when I snap.
"Carol, for once in your life, shut your damn mouth!" I yell.
"What?" Carol asks.
"Hey, what's your problem, man?" Tommy asks.
"You're both assholes. That's my problem."
I say and get up.
"Are you serious right now, man?" Tommy asks.
"Yeah, I'm serious. You shouldn't of done that." I say and open the door to go in my car.
"Done what?" Tommy asks.
"You know what." I say.
"It's not our fault you went all crazy on Lizzy! Why do you even care so much about her?" Carol asks and I stay silent for a hit. Why do I care so much about her?
"She's different to you guys. She actually cares about other people." I say.
"The freaky slut with a heart of gold." Carol says.
"I told you to watch your mouth!" I shout again.
"I don't know what's gotten into you man, but you don't talk to her that way." Tommy says in my face.
"Get out of my face." I say pushing him when he grabs me and pins me against my car.
"Or what? You gonna fight me now, too? Huh? Because you couldn't take Jonathan Byers so I wouldn't recommend that." He says and I get in my car and drive away.
"That's right! Run away Stevie boy! That Lizzys turning you into a little pussy!" Tommy shouts.
