[8] The End (or not...)

Once we get to his house, we screw the lightbulbs back on and put up traps for the thing to fall into. I put more bullets in the gun and make a nailed bat. We set up the bear trap and then I get the blade out of my pocket ready to draw blood.

"Remember..." Jonathan says.
"Straight into Wills room. And—" Nancy says.
"Careful of the trap." I say.
"Wait for the yo-yo to move." Nancy says.
"Then..." Jonathan says and lights the flame.
"Alright, you both ready?
"Ready." Nancy and me say and put the knifes above our hands.
"On three." Jonathan says.
"One... two..." Jonathan says then looks up at me.
"You don't have to do this." He says.
"Three." I say and slit my hand along with the others.

We bandage our hands up when I hear a faint creaking.
"Did you hear that?" I ask them.
"It's just the wind. Don't worry. My mom, she said the lights speak when it comes." Jonathan reassures me.
"Speak?" Nancy asks.
"Blink. Think of them as alarms."
Someone starts banging on the door making us all jump.

"Jonathan! Are you there, man? It's Steve!"
"Shit, what's he doing here?" I ask and go towards the door.
"Listen! I just want to talk!" Steve shouts. I open the door.
"Steve, you need to go." I say.
"Hey, Lizzy, what?"
"You need to leave, okay?" I say sternly.
"I'm sorry, I messed up. I'm not trying to start anything, okay?" Steve says.
"Please, we will talk after. You need to go, now!" I say.
"No, please I really messed up and I want to make things right. Please..." He says then looks down at my bandaged up hand.
"Hey, what happened to your hand?" He asks me. His voice went softer and calmer.
"Is that blood?" He asks grabbing my hand. I pull it away.
"Nothing. It was an accident." I stammer.
"What's going on? Did he do that to you?" Steve asks and pushes past me and bursting in. He looks around confused and scared.
Him and Jonathan start shouting at each other when Nancy picks up my gun and points it at him.
"Steve, get out!" She shouts.
"Nancy!" I yell.
"What is going on?!" Steve shouts. He's completely freaking out.
"You have five seconds to get out of here." Nancy says.
"Okay, is this a joke? Stop. Put the gun down!" Steve yells shaking his hands infront of him.
"I'm doing this for you." Nancy says and the lights start to blink. I start panicking and shaking.
"Nancy." Jonathan says.
"Nancy!" I scream. She looks over to me and I point at the blinking lights. I grab the nailed bat and start looking everyone.
"Where is it?" I ask.
"Where is what?" Steve asks.
"I don't know, I can't see it!" Nancy shouts.
The monster bursts through the ceiling. Nancy starts shooting at it and Steve just stands there frozen. I grab his arm and we run to Wills room as planned.

"Jump!" I scream as we pass the bear trap.
We slam the door shut.
"Jesus! Jesus! What the hell was that?!" Steve screams freaking out.
"Shut up!" We all shout at him.
We point our weapons towards the door but the creature walks away.
"What's it doing?" Nancy asks.
"I don't know." Jonathan says.
The lights stop blinking and we can't hear it walking around anymore
"Do you hear anything?" Nancy asks and I shake my head.
"No." Jonathan says and we all slowly creep out of wills room and into the living room. Steve runs to the phone and starts dailing a number. I take it off of him and throw is.

"Are you insane?!" He screams.
"It's going to come back, which is why you need to leave!" I scream and he runs out of the door. The light start blinking again then it goes pitch black and silent. I keep looking around then the lights come back and I see the thing behind Jonathan.
"Jonathan!" I scream and the thing takes Jonathan down and starts clawing at him and his blood flies everywhere. I start hitting it with the nailed bat and it leaves Jonathan alone and comes towards me. I drop the bath and back up when I hear Nancy shooting it. It picks up its hands about to kill me ans I close my eyes and get ready when I hear a squelch. Its Steve. He grabbed my nail bat and kept hitting it. I grabs the lighter and Steve lurred it towards the trap. It got stuck in it so I lit it on fire. We watch it light on fire and extinguish it. All that's left is it's foot.

I look over at Steve and hug him tightly. He wraps his arms around me tight when I hear coughing. I look over and see Jonathan.
"Jesus!" Steve shouts. I run over to him and take off my coat and put it on his wound.
"Call someone!" I scream at Nancy and she calls the ambulance.

Flashback

I watch as the doctors do CPR on my sister, Sara. She's dying. I start crying and holding onto my dad as tight as possible. He holds onto me and then I hear the flatline. I fall to my knees knowing that it will never be the same

End of flashback

"Jonathan! You're going to be fine!" I shout and start feeling for his pulse, but there isn't any.
"There's no pulse..." i say.
"Jesus Christ." Steve mutters. I start doing cpr on him and it's a miracle. His eyes open and he starts coughing again.
"Lizzy?" Jonathan manages to get out. I hold him tight waiting for the ambulance to come.

One day later....

I put on some fresh clothes and clean myself up before going to visit Jonathan and Will in the hospital. I'm happy Will was alive but upset about Barbara. I hear a car honking outside and run outside and see Steve.

"Harrington! Let's go!" I say smiling at him. I get in his car and we drive to the hospital. Once I get there I see Mike, Dustin, Lucas, Nancy, Joyce and my dad.

"Lizzy!" Dustin shouts and hugs me tight.
"Where's will?" I ask and he takes me to his room. When I get in there I smile at him and he starts smiling at me. I hug him and he hugs me back.

Christmas Day

Turns out El was actually alive and was living with me and my dad now.

"Here's your gift." I say to El and give her a nice dress.
"Pretty." El says and smiles at me.
"I'll drop you down to Nancys now." My dad says grabbing his keys. I hug El and get in my dads car. He drops me off at Nancys. I grab my bag of gifts I have. I go down the basement and see the 4 boys celebrating.

"Lizzy!" They all say. I give them their gifts and they smile opening it.
"Thanks!" They all say to me then I go upstairs and Mrs Wheeler a bouquet of roses.
"Thank you Honey." She says and hugs me. I see Steve and Nancy. I give Nancy her wrapped up gift.
"Oh, I have yours upstairs!" She yells and runs upstairs. It's just me and Steve in the room. He gets up from the couch and gives me his gift and I give him is.
"Open it now." He says.
"It's not Christmas?" I laugh softly.
"I know, I want to see your reaction." He smiles and I open it. It was a picture frame and a picture of me and Steve when we were 13.

"You're an idiot, Steve Harrington." I say.
"And you're a freak, Elizabeth Hopper." Steve says. I kiss him on the cheek and leave. I'm

I go back to my dads car and we drive home. Everything is back to normal. Or so I thought.

I wake up in the red place again. I look around and see the half man-half creature again.
"Stop bringing me here!" I scream.
"You're brining yourself here, Elizabeth." He says.
"I don't get it!" I shout.
"You'll get it soon. Eleven made a big mistake. And you will soon suffer the consequences. Have a nice Christmas, Lizzy."

I wake up still in my dads car. I look around panicking.

"Are you okay?" My dad asks and I nod my head.
"Yeah, I'm fine." I lie.

AUTHORS NOTE

THIS WILL ALL MAKE SENSE IN SEASON 4 IF YOU DONT GET THE REFERENCE ALSO STEVE AND LIZZY ARE A SLOW BURN BECAUSE I HATE IT HOW THEY MAKE OCS GET TOGETHER AT THE END OF SEASON 2 OR SEASON 1 BECAUSE HE JUST BROKE UP WITH NANCY.

Also this is the first one I wrote so sorry if it's not good.
