"Jesus, slow down!" Steve says slurring his words.
"Yeah, what is this, like, the Indy 500?!" Robin asks also slurring her words.
"It's the Indy 300!" Steve' says.
"No, dingus! It's 500!" Robin shouts.
"It's 300!" Steve shouts.
"Lets say... a million!" Robin says and they both start dying with laughter.
"What is wrong with them?" Erica asks me.
"I don't know! They might be high or something." I say.
We get into the elevator again and drag them with us.
Steve starts doing surfing motions with Robin and me and Dustin look at each other confused.
"You look like your surfing!" Robin laughs.
"Whoa!" Steve exclaims almost falling over.
"They seem drunk." Erica says.
"Why would they be drunk?" I ask.
"I'm a natural! Check it out!" Steve yells laughing.
He falls over and I put my hand on his head.
"He's burning up." I say.
"You're burning up." Steve says back.
I look at his pupils and he winces as I touch it. I look back at Dustin and Erica who look worried.
"His pupils are super dialated." I say.
"Maybe he's drugged." Erica suggests.
He touches my nose and makes a "boop" noise.
"Steve, are you drugged?" I ask him.
"How many times, Dad? I don't do drugs." He says with a sassy tone, "it's only marijuana." He says and laughs.
"This isn't funny, okay? I need to know what they did to you. Are you gonna die?" I ask him.
"Boop." He says touching my nose again.
"We all die, it's just a matter of how... and when." Robin says and smiles at us creepily.
"They're gonna be looking for us up there," Dustin says crouching down on the other side of Steve, "so I need you to tell me where you parked your car."
"Oh, can we make a pit stop at the food court?" Steve asks.
"I would kill for a hotdog on a stick." Robin says.
"Oooo." Steve says.
"All right. Yeah, food. You can have as much food as you want, but only if you tell me where your car is parked." Dustin says.
"Uh oh. The cars off the board. They took my keys. Like forever ago." Steve says and him and Robin start laughing.
We finally get out and see these Russians running towards us so we run into a door and into the cinema.

"I'll watch Robin, you watch Steve." Dustin says and me and Steve sit on the two available seats and starts eating popcorn.
"Where the hell did you get that from?" I ask him.
"Trash." He answers.
"Gross." I say and take a handful of his popcorn.
"I need the bathroom." Steve complains.
"Jesus. Wait." I say.
"I can't. I'm gonna totally throw up." He says. I grab his arm and we run out the cinema and into the bathroom. I go into a different stall to him. I hear him throwing up and groaning.

"Better?" I ask him.
"Well the ceilings stopped spinning." He says.
"Cool." I say awkwardly.
"Cool." He says.
"Do you think you vomitted all the drugs out?" I ask him.
"Maybe. Ask me something." He says.
"Have you... ever been in love?" I ask him.
"Yep. Nancy." He says and I laugh softly.
"Are you still in love with Nancy?" I ask him.
"No." He says.
"Why?" I ask.
"Because I found someone who's a little bit better for me." Steve says.
"Oh?" I say and feel my heart drop.
"Is it Robin?" I ask him.
"No, she said that she was lesbian earlier. No. Uh, this girl is amazing." Steve says.
"Tell me more." I say.
"Ever since Dustin got home, he's been saying, you gotta find your Suzie..."
"His fake girlfriend?" I ask him.
"Yeah, that doesn't matter. The point is, this girl that I like, it's somebody that hated me in school. It's someone I ditched for popularity and that was so stupid of me." Steve says and I feel a smile come on my face.
"What do you like about her?" I ask him.
"Everything." He says.
"What about your favourite things about her?" I ask and he sighs and laughs.
"She's so funny. She's absolutely hilarious. This summer, I have laughed harder than I have ever laughed in my entire life. She is honestly so beautiful. And God, she's so tough, she even almost shot me when I climbed through her window once." Steve laughs and I laugh with him.
"She sounds crazy." I say.
"She is. And a little scary. She's so smart. She can crack secret Russian codes and she just knows words and stuff." Steve says and then I realise he's on drugs and not thinking straight. He slides under the stall and sits infront of me.
"What do you think?" He asks me.
"I think that he's disgusting and just layed down on a floor covered in urine." I say and he laughs.
"Of the girl?" He asks and I sigh.
"She sounds brilliant." I say.
"She is. What about the boy?" He asks.
I sigh and look at him.
"I think that he is on drugs, he's tired and been beat up really badly and not thinking straight." I say.
"I think he's thinking more clearly than usual." Steve says.
"No, he's not. Because this boy is the funniest and bravest person I've met. And he needs to realise that this girl is not enough for him." I say.
"Why wouldn't she be enough?" Steve asks.
"Because, she likes this boy too. But she's not like the other people he's dated." I say.
"But what if that's exactly why he likes her?" Steve asks and I sigh then start laughing.
"Why are you laughing?" Steve asks me and starts laughing hard with me when Dustin bursts through the door with Erica and Robin.
"Okay. What the hell?!" Dustin yells and we look at each other and start laughing again.

We blend in with the crowd and walk with everyone else.
"Well shit, that worked." Erica says.
"Of course it worked. We just have to get on the bus with the rest of these plebes and home sweet home, here we come." Dustin says.
"Uh, Dustin?" Steve says.
"What?" Dustin asks.
"Yeah, we might not wanna go to your house." Steve says.
"Why?" Me and Dustin ask.
"Well, I might've told them your full name." Steve says.
I punch him on the arm and he groans and holds his arm.
"What is wrong with you?!" Dustin exclaims.
"Dude, I was drugged." Steve says.
"So?"
"So?"
"So, you resist. You tough it out. You tough it out like a man." Dustin says.
"Oh, yeah, it's easy for you to say." Steve says.
"Guys?" Robin says and turns our attention to this Russian guy. He looks over at us and we run and push past people. We slide down the escalator and hide behind a counter. I hold Steve's hand tight as I hear them come closer to where we are hiding when a car alarm goes off. We hear a lot of noise coming from it and hear a loud crash. We get up and see El and the rest up there.

I smile and they come down and I hug El and Max tightly.
"Lizzy!" Max shouts.
"You flung that thing like a hot wheel!" Dustin shouts and hugs El and Mike.
"Lucas?!" Erica exclaims.
"Erica?! What are you going here?!"
"Ask them. It's their fault." Erica says pointing to me, Steve and Robin.
"True, yeah. Totally true. It's absolutely our fault." Steve says.
"I don't understand what happened to that car." Robin says.
"El has superpowers." I say.
"I'm sorry?" Robin asks.
"Superpowers. She threw it with her mind. Cmon, catch up." Steve says.
"Thats El?" Erica asks.
"Who's El?" Robin asks.
"I'm sorry, who are you?" Nancy asks Robin.
"I'm Robin. I work with Steve." Robin says.
"She helped Lizzy crack the top secret code." Dustin says.
"Yeah, which is how we found out about the Russians." I say.
"Russians? Wait, what Russians?" Jonathan asks.
"The Russians!" Steve says pointing to the ones who were hit by that car.
"Those were Russians?" Max asks.
"Some of them." Erica says.
"What are you talking about?" Lucas asks.
"Didnt you hear our code red?" Dustin asks.
"Yeah. I couldn't understand what you were saying." Mike says.
"Goddamn low battery!" Dustin exclaims.
"How many times do I have to tell you with the low battery?" Steve shouts.
"Well, everything worked out, didn't it?" Dustin asks.
"Worked out? We almost died!" I shout.
"Almost!" Dustin shouts and everyone starts talking over each other so I couldn't hear a work anyone was saying.
I look behind me and see El.
"El?" I ask and stand by her. She falls into me and I catch her and sit on the floor and everyone comes over.
"El! El!" Mike shouts.
"What's wrong with her?" Erica asks.
"What's wrong?" I ask her.
"My leg." She winces. They take off her bandage and we see this Nancy purple gooey thing on her leg.
"What the hell?!" I shout. It starts moving and she grunts in pain. She screams because of the pain and I hold onto her tightly.
