Moon's POV
"So after this I'll meet the team?" I question as I look at my agent.
"Yeah." Leah Martin says.
"Then what?" I ask as I look at my assistant.
"Well they just got in from Detroit this morning so probably a light practice, but after that you're free." Sierra Morgan, my assistant, says.
"Cool." I say then I look at Cairo Jónsdóttir. "You sure about this?"
"Am I sure I wanna promote an NCAA national Champion, a 2 time G-League MVP, and a 2 time G-League champion to the Lakers?" Cairo questions. "Absofuckinglutely."
I was born intersex, i.e. with a dick instead of with a pussy, and because of this I've always had to play basketball with the boys teams even though I'm a fucking woman.
My hormones say I'm a woman, every doctor I've ever had say I'm a woman, the official NBA doctors say I'm a woman, and I say I'm a woman which means I'm a fucking woman.
I signed with the UCLA men's basketball team out of high school, won the 2020 National championship my freshman year, then I declared for the drafted and was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Lakers.
After the Summer League, I was moved to the South Bay Lakers, the LA Lakers G-League team, and for the last two years I've been playing with the South Bay Lakers in the G-League.
I would have loved to play in the WNBA, but they said no and gave me a lifetime ban which is so fucking stupid.
The LA Sparks have no affiliation with the Lakers so Cairo couldn't campaign on my behalf.
Now that the Lakers have injury trouble I've been signed to a one year deal with the Lakers.
"Cairo they're ready." Cairo's assistant Nova says then myself, Sierra, Leah, Cairo, and my service dog stand up, walk out of the room we're in, and head to the press conference room.
When we get to the press conference room, the photographers start taking pictures as Leah, Cairo, and I head up onto the small podium where we'll be sitting.
