"So how do I look?" I question as I look at my wife.

"Sexy as hell

"Sexy as hell." Kara says as she adjusts my tie then my wife catches me ogling her. "What?"

"How the fuck did you have a baby 5 weeks ago?" I question. "You look like you did pre-baby."

Today is December 15, 2023 and like I said it's been six weeks since Cayman was born.

I forgot how taxing having a newborn is, but I wouldn't trade it for the world.

However I would trade long road trips though.

I had a long road trip with the lakers so I went two whole weeks without seeing my family.

I hate road trips a whole lot more now.

Thankfully we're playing in LA until we head over to Europe to play two games.

"Well I have a very good workout group." Kara says with a smile.

Kara and Cayman go on walks every morning with my Mom and my grandma then our big ass friend group goes for walks every night.

I try to make it every night, but some times I have games so our friend group does the walks before they come to the game.

After my game's Kara, Cayman, Luna, and I will go for one last walk before bedtime.

I love our walks.

"Well if you look this sexy just from walking then fuck basketball." I say

"Shush you." Kara says then she pecks my lips and smacks my ass. "Now go have some fun with your friends."

"Yes Dear." I say then I kiss my boo bear before I walk over to Megan, Talia, and Emma.

"You ready?" Emma questions.

"Mhmm." I say.

Myself, Megan, Talia, and Emma are doing a Q&A tonight at UCLA for any of the UCLA students who wanted to come and learn about the Movie, TV, and Music industries.

"I miss Cayman." I say.

My parents are looking after Cayman tonight so that Kara and I can have a night to ourselves.

"You'll see her soon." Talia says.

"Yeah." I mumble

"....so please welcome Emma Harris, Megan Thee Stallion, Talia Martin, and Moon River." I hear the host lady say from the stage then my friends and I walk onto the stage as the auditorium of UCLA students clap.

Once we're on stage, my friends and I shake hands with the host lady then we sit down and start talking.

The beginning questions are about the music industry so I sit in silence.

"You don't have anything to add?" Talia questions after the 8th question about the music industry.

"I know nothing about the music industry so I don't think my opinion is valid here." I say.

"Well this next question is about the writing process of songs." The host lady says. "How do you write songs?"

"Well I only write songs for movies and tv shows." I say. "So when I do that I watch the scene that the song will be played in while playing the piano, tapping on my thigh, or doodling on a pad of paper and try to gain inspiration from that."

"How long does that take?"

"The longest it's ever taken is like three hours." I say.

"How long do you think it'd take now?" Emma says as she motions to the piano sitting on the stage.

"I can't do it without watching a scene." I say.

"Well what was the last song you wrote?" Megan asks then I start singing.

"Honestly." I say as I try to think about what song I last wrote. "I have no clue."

That's kinda weird I can't remember what song I last wrote

"Uh." I say as I look at Kara. "Oh I wrote one for Kara and that's the first song I ever wrote not about a movie or tv show."

"Aww." I hear a bunch of the crowd say.

"Why don't we get some questions about the movie and film industry." The host lady says then she grabs a question out of the tv and movie question bowl.

When the students we're coming in here the wrote down any questions they had for us.

"Julianna wants to know as an actress how do you know how much emotion to use for each scene." The host lady reads off the card.

"It depends on what the scene calls for, but sometimes a director will just let you play with it a bit for a take to see if you can bring something different to the scene

"Is that what happened in that tv show you did that went viral?" Talia asks.

"I went viral?" I question.

"You don't know?" Megan questions.

"I've been a bit busy." I say.

"This one?" The host lady says then I look at the large screen behind us.

"Oh." I say then I watch the scene.

I guest starred as a grieving parent of a school shooting victim on a political show that airs on HBO.

"I blame the gunmen, but I also blame you, I blame congress, and I blame the gun companies that have filled your pockets with money so you don't pass legislation to reform gun laws and help protect the actual people who voted you into office." My character says.

"Miss Carter your delusional." A congressman says then he goes off on a rant as the camera zooms in on my face.

"YOU'RE KILLING OUR KIDS." My character shouts. "YOU LET FUCKING MONEY CLOUD YOUR JUDGEMENT."

This was a fun scene to film.

"Our children are dying and nobody cares." My character says. "All you assholes care about is lining your pockets with money that's frankly blood money."

It also helped that we filmed this days after another school shooting.

"Until you bring new legislation to change the gun laws, you will all be responsible for every murdered kid at every school that gets shot up." My character says. "And you will all have to answer for your crimes on your day of reckoning."

"Uh yeah." I say as the video stops then I turn back around. "There's actually like 10 minutes of footage for that whole rant I had, but they directors chose to use those quotes."

Wait.

"Why'd that go viral?" I question.

"The day after that episode aired was the Pinewood School shooting." Emma says.

"Oh yeah." I say. "So many school shootings these days I can't keep up."

"Ain't that the truth."

"Enough sad stuff." I say. "What's next?"
