Kara's POV
"Goodnight Bunny." I whisper as Moon falls asleep on my right boob while holding my left boob.
"Nighty night." Moon mumbles as she falls asleep.
Once my wife is asleep, I look over at my favorite pitbull.
"Luna." I loudly whisper. "You wanna come lay with me."
Luna smiles at me then she hops up onto the bed and lays in-between my legs.
"You did so good today." I say as I love on my puppy.
We had a busy day today.
Moon, Luna, and I took Cayman to the Aquarium of the Pacific then we went to dinner and walked along Venice beach
I'm pretty sure Cayman had no idea what was going on, but she seemed to like the colors of the fish.
"You didn't even get distracted by the colorful fishy's." I say.
Luna smiles at me then she rests her head on my stomach.
"Good doggy." I whisper then I grab the tv remote and press play.
Moon was one of the guests on LeBron James' tv show The Shop and I haven't watched it yet so I'm gonna watch it before bed.
The other people on the show are JJ Redick, Dwayne Wade, Maverick Carter, LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Russell Westbrook.
"First question." Dwayne Wade says.
They already did all the introduction things.
"Moon." Dwayne Wade says.
"Yes?" Moon says.
"Is LeBron a good actor?"
"Well he's never gotten a chance to be anything but a celebrity in films that pander so I can't really say." Moon says.
"So was he good in Space Jam?" Maverick Carter asks.
"I mean he won a Razzie for worst actor for Space Jam 2 sooooo." Moon says.
Razzie's are basically the opposites of the Oscars.
"Wow." LeBron says. "I see how it is."
Moon chuckles then she sips on her wine.
"Moon what did you make of those rumors that Kyrie Irving was going to sign with the Lakers in free agency this past summer?" Maverick asks.
"I thought they were laughable." Moon says. "The people who believed those rumors obviously don't know Cairo Jónsdóttir.
"Fuck that dude." Russ says.
"Cheers to that." Moon says.
"What was that whole ordeal like?" JJ Redick asks.
"Confusing." Moon says. "I still don't know what I did to deserve to be punched like that."
All Moon did was not shake his hand because she didn't respect him for his anti-semitic views.
"Thankfully my teammates we're incredible and had my back the entire time while I was recovering, but I felt ostracized by the rest of the league." Moon says. "I got a lot of death threats for pressing charges and I got some pretty fucked up dm's from DeMarcus Cousins, Blake Griffin, DeAndre Jordan, and a few others who thought I was in the wrong for pressing charges."
"They did what?" AD says.
"Yeah." Moon says. "I thought about publicizing that shit when it happened, but I just wanted to move on."
"We'll handle it." LeBron says.
Moon nods then she clears her throat.
"And after all that I didn't really talk as much shit to people cause I was scared I was gonna get punched again." Moon says.
"When'd you start talking shit again?" D-Wade asks.
"Around the second round of the playoffs." Moon says. "The dudes next to me took me to dinner when we were in San Fran and basically calmed all my fears and told me to keep talking shit."
"You're a different player when you talk shit." Russ says.
"As we can see." Maverick Carter says.
"When did you know you'd win the NBA Finals?" Dwayne Wade asks.
"When the Boston Crowd said those fucked up things about my son in Game 1." Moon says.
"I think everyone knew Boston was a fucked up place, but even for Boston those comments were to far." Maverick says.
"Their lucky I stopped shooting in Game 2." Moon says. "I coulda dropped 100 on them."
The people on the show continue talking about basketball stuff and I try to pay attention, but Moon look's too delicious.
"Moon have you seen the debate about Nepotism?" Dwayne Wade asks.
Recently there's been a discussion about nepotism babies and who are good nepotism babies and who are bad nepotism babies
Bad nepotism babies are basically nepotism babies who don't acknowledge the fact that they are nepotism babies.
So basically my sisters Kendall and Kylie are bad nepotism babies.
Good nepotism babies are people like Moon who openly admit they have an advantage in an industry because of who their parents are.
I've always freely admitted the reason I have a platform to make my clothing line as big as it is is because of my former last name, but I don't really know if people think I'm a good nepotism baby or a bad one.
"I have." Moon says.
"What do you think about all that?"
"I don't know if I am in basketball, but in the movie industry I am absolutely a nepotism baby and I'm proud of that fact because l'm proud of the work my parents have put in." Moon says. "I'd be stupid not to use connections my parents have made in the industry."
I wonder if Moon is considered a nepotism baby in the basketball world.
"Are your parents involved with your Production company?" Dwayne asks.
"They are not." Moon says.
"What made you cast Megan the Stallion?" Maverick asks.
"Well her wife went to the 2022 Olympics and raced in speed skating while Megan looked after their daughter who had a fall." Moon says. "And before people judge, Megan told Cairo to go to the Olympics so don't blame Cairo."
Moon definitely needed to make that clear.
"So while that was happening I saw how stressed she was so I asked her about if she'd do a song for the movie and she agreed." Moon says. "We then talked about the movie was about and I saw her eyes light up when we were talking about it so I thought why not give her an audition which we did the next day and here we are now."
"When did you know she was a good actress?"
"First day of rehearsal's." Moon says.
"How long'd it take you to do that movie?"
"Our first rehearsal day was April 16th of 2022 in LA, our first day of actually filming was April 30th in Uganda, and we finished filming on may 21st." Moon says. "So all in all about five weeks.
"You rehearsed before you shot the movie?"
"Yeah cause it was the first movie my film production ever made so we didn't have a lot of money which meant we needed to do it right." Moon says.
"Is that normal?" LeBron asks.
"For smaller budget movies it is." Moon says.
"Anymore movies coming out?" Russ asks.
"A lot more." Moon says. "I have a lot more coming out."
