Moon's POV
"So what kind of Moon do I need to be today?" I question as I finish eating my lunch.
Today's the final day of the national team training camp and we're playing an intrasquad game.
"Uh we need bad bitch Moon." Kelsey Plum says.
"We need Game 2 of the NBA Finals Moon." Candace Parker says.
"So I can talk shit?" I question with a smile. "And dunk over people?"
"If you don't then I'm gonna have Kara hold you down so we can tickle you." Sabrina lonescu says.
"How rude." I say as I stand up from the barstool in my kitchen then I put my dishes up in the dishwasher.
"Speaking of Kara where is she?" Kelsey asks.
"Her and I's friends took her out to lunch before they all come back to watch the game." I say.
"Well when she gets back I'm giving her a hug cause these cookies are so fucking good." Kelsey says then she eats another cookie.
"Would you stop eating cookies before we play a game." Elena Delle Donne says. "Luna get her."
Luna rolls her eyes then she continues playing with her toys.
"Oh wow." A'ja Wilson says. "You got dissed by a dog."
"Who got dissed by a dog?" I hear my wife say.
"Elena Did." Kelsey sassily says as I turn around and see my wife along with all our friends standing in the kitchen.
"Have a nice lunch?" I ask.
"Yep." Kara says as she walks over to me.
When Kara gets to me, I wrap my arms around my girl and kiss her.
"Hi Boo Bear." I whisper.
"Hi Bunny." Kara says with a smile. "You know pizza and cannoli's sounds great for dinner."
"I was thinking the same thing." I say.
"Yay." Kara softly cheers then she pecks my lips. "We're gonna go get settled."
I nod then Kara looks at Luna.
"Luna you wanna come sit with Mommy?" Kara asks.
Kara and our friends are gonna sit in the basement and watch through the glass windows surrounding the left side of the court.
It's kinda hard to explain how the court is set up, but I'll try any way.
The far end of the court and the right hand sideline is surrounded by padding, the closest end of the court is where you enter and exit, but the left hand sideline is split from the rest of the basement by bullet proof glass so that's where my friends and Kara will be watching the game from
The glass is bullet proof because I don't want a ball to break the windows.
Luna woofs then she follows Kara out of the kitchen as the basketball ladies and I put up our dishes.
"I got it." Sophia Smith says after the doorbell rings then she heads towards the door as us basketball ladies finish putting up the dishes.
Once the dishes are up, my friends and I leave the kitchen, meet up with the rest of the players here for the training camp, then we head down to my basement.
When we get to the basement, all 20 of us get ready for the game.
I finish getting ready first so I stretch while waiting.
