Tonight's my first game back after maternity leave and my seizure.
We're playing the Suns.
Whew.
Once I make my last shot, I walk over to Luna and scratch her head then we head back into the tunnel and walk towards the locker rooms.
Before we get to the locker room, we walk into the Service Dog bathroom then I stand guard as Luna does her buisness.
After Luna does her buisness, I pick up after her, then I wash my hands before we head to the locker room.
Once in our locker room, I put my phone and AirPods up in my bag, grab my white jersey and shorts then Luna and I head to the bathroom and walk into a stall.
When we get into the stall, I take off my warm up shirt and shorts then I put on my game jersey and shorts.
Once I'm dressed, I tuck my jersey into my shorts then Luna and I leave the stall and head back to my locker and put my warm up stuff up in my locker.
After my stuff is put up, I put my long dark brown curly hair up in a ponytail.
"Now to get you dressed." I say with a smile as I look at Luna.
Luna smiles at me as I sit down in my chair then I put white sweatbands with the Lakers logo on them on my doggies front legs.
"There we go." I say then I kiss Luna's head.
Luna smiles at me then she lays next to me so I stand and put on my shootaround shirt and sweats shirt and sweats that I'll wear while sitting on the bench.
Once I'm ready to head out to the court, I sit back in my chair and listen to Coach Ham do his pre game talk.
After the pre-game talk, my teammates, Luna and I leave the locker room and head out to the court.
Once on the court, my teammates and I do some more shooting and stretching for around 15 minutes then we get in a line and stand for the anthems
After the anthem finishes, our team is introduced first so I sit and wait for my name to be called.
"Number 14, Moon River." The PA Dude says then I stand up, walk onto the court, and high five my teammates.
Once everyone is introduced, I head to the sideline with the other starters, take off my shootaround shirt and sweats leaving me in my jersey and shorts, then I squat down and love on Luna.
"You be good." I say.
Luna smiles at me so I kiss her head then I stand up.
Once I'm stood up, I head to the sticky pad, step on it a couple times, then I head onto the court.
When I get on the court I fist bump the other team then I get in position.
"Y'all are gonna get destroyed." Devin Booker says.
LeBron, DeMar, and Buddy are sitting out tonight's game because they're hurt.
"No." I say. "No we won't."

Kara's POV
"If only Moon and Tiger we're this chill as babies." Moon's Mom says as she adjusts Cayman on her chest. "I'd have gotten more sleep in those first months."
"She's usually more vocal." I say as I sit down in my home's theater room with my pizza and soda. "I guess Grandma Serenity has a calming power."
"Grandma's always have calming powers." Moon's grandma says as Moon's Dad flips to the Suns v Lakers game.
"Haven't seen those jerseys in a while." Emma says as we look at the Lakers who are wearing their white jerseys.
Moon and I's family and friends are here to watch the game and
"New NBA rule says white jerseys can only be worn on the road." Cairo says.
"Ah." Emma says as the line-ups for tonight's game

"Wait what happened to that Ayton guy?" Stella asks as the game tips off.
"He got traded to Dallas for a player, Dallas' 1st round pick in the 2023 draft which they used to select Gradey Dick, and Dallas' 1st round pick in the 2024 draft."
"I wonder who Moon likes more." Ash says. "Anthony Davis or Steven Adams."
"Steven Adams." I say. "He's more consistent and isn't hurt all the time."
I probably shouldn't have said that with Cairo in the room.
Oops.
"Wait a minute they didn't put the tilde above the n in Cesar Oñate's name on the line-up." Cairo says.
"It's ESPN." Sierra says. "What'd you expect."
"True." Cairo says.
"Cairo are you happy with how Moon's been this season?" Moon's Grandad questions.
It's become very apparent that Moon's now comfortable in herself being in the NBA because Moon's been talking shit all season now and is finally speaking her mind to the team.
All this has come to light because of the Hard Knocks show following the lakers.
"Absolutely." Cairo says. "I knew this is who Moon is when we signed her and I was waiting for her to become like this since she got on the team."
"Does it always take her a year?" My Friend Demi asks.
"No." Emma says as. "Once Moon knows the team is hers she starts talking s-h-i-t to the opponent."
"Did..." Tobin says, but she stops talking as Moon dunks over one of the Suns. "Wow."
"I own your ass." I hear Moon say from the tv. "You talk all that shit yet I still own you and this bitch ass franchise."
"Speaking of Moon being in her element." I say causing everyone to chuckle.
Over the next couple of hours I eat my pizza and drink my drink while talking to my friends, watching the game, and holding Cayman.
"DESTROY WHO?" I see Moon shout as she and the Lakers walk off the court after their 91-77 win over the suns.
"Wonder who's she's talking to." Jessie says.
"No clue." I say then ESPN shows a graphic on the tv

"That's over a month away." I mumble then Cayman makes some noise as she looks at the tv.
I think she saw her Mama.
"I miss her too Cayman." I whisper as Moon's shown again. "I miss her too."
