"거기너 I fancy you

아무나 원하지 않아

Hey, I love you (love ya!)

그래 너 I fancy you

꿈처럼 행복해도 돼

'Cause I need you!"

(song: FANCY by TWICE)

Jisung groaned, blindly reaching his hand over to his nightstand to turn off his alarm. He sat up in bed a little, rubbing his eyes with his fist, trying to get himself to get a good grip on reality so that he could get ready for uni. Jisung was never a morning person, and the fact that he always felt so disoriented after waking up didn't help. Accidental afternoon or night naps were the worst though, because once he woke up, he wouldn't know where he was or what year it was and would start panicking for a solid two minutes before his memories of him came back to him. (a/n did i include a little bit of myself in this fic? why yes, yes i did.)

"I didn't take you for the type to be a Twice fanboy." An amused honey-like voice awoke Jisung from his daily staring contest with a wall.

"Well, there's a lot we don't know about each other." Jisung responded, head turned to Minho's direction as he smiled with faux innocence. Minho was leaning against the wall next to the bathroom door, arms crossed.

"Lee Minho. Nice to meet you." He introduced with a seemingly cold undertone. Jisung could probably guess he wasn't hyped about having a roommate.

"Han Jisung. You as well." Jisung said back, though he was quite sure they both knew each other's names.

"Get ready. You don't want to be late, again ." Minho said, walking from his place against the wall to his backpack, readying his belongings. Jisung just hummed in return, grabbing some clean clothes and going to the bathroom. After he did what he needed to, he came out of the bathroom only to find the dorm room empty. Fine by me. I wanted to go alone anyway . Jisung gathered his stuff and headed through the door, a subconscious pout resting on his lips.

By the time Jisung made it to his first class, which ended up being his music class, most people weren't seated yet. He was proud of himself for making it on time, more so that he made it early enough to choose his own seat. He chose to sit on the side of the classroom furthest from the window, and more towards the back. After Jisung sat down, someone came into the room after him and sat down next to him. Soon afterwards, the whole classroom was filled up.

"Good afternoon, students. My name is Professor Choi. I'm going to skip the icebreakers and get straight into the lesson. Our first assignment will be a partner assignment. I want you to write a song." The whole class looked around at each other confusedly. They knew that they would be doing things like this, but definitely not this soon.

"Now, before you get all worked up about it, this is just for fun and for me to see where your current talent levels are, as well as your ability to work with others with the same passion." She explained further.

"It can be any genre, and any length between two and five minutes. You will have 3 weeks, and will need to play your song in front of the class. Please come and talk to me if you have any concerns or questions." She finished off her speech with a smile, before walking to her desk and sitting down.

Jisung already knew he was doomed. Writing songs was just fine but working with someone else definitely wasn't . Don't get him wrong, he loved being around people and he was quite extroverted. But there was always that little part inside him of who he used to be that wasn't. He scanned the room hopelessly, watching how all the students got up and paired with one another. He felt like a total loser still sitting in his seat, until his eyes landed on the man next to him, who was also still seated and looked as uncomfortable as Jisung.
