Jisung's shift at the bakery had finally come to an end. It was currently 9:50 pm, and he was just about to wrap up everything and leave when a customer came in. Fuck.

"I'm sorry sir, we're closing," Jisung said politely.

"You aren't closed yet, there's still 10 more minutes left." The old man said, tapping his foot on the floor. Jisung fake smiled, turning to Chan who was wiping down the counter.

"He's all yours." Jisung pat Chan on the shoulder and turned back around, hanging up his apron and walking straight out the door to start his night shift at the diner. If Jisung didn't have feathers, he'd totally be a stripper. Gotta pay for college somehow, right?

He walked through the door of the diner, waving at a newer coworker on their phone while chewing gum who just ignored him. Bitch. Jisung rolled his eyes. He proceeded onwards to the bathroom, quickly changing his shirt into the worker uniform which was a plain white t-shirt with a white apron and white pants, and a little red bowtie. It was blinding, He came out of the bathroom and immediately got to work washing dishes, there was no time to waste.

(a/n: so, the diner he works at, just picture it and the uniform to look like pop's chocolate shop from riverdale. ik it's a cringeass show but like when you get over the cringiness (and random musical episodes??? wtf were those??) then it's actually a good show frfr)

🌙

Jisung opened the door to his dorm room softly. It was currently 3:26 am, and he was dressed in his normal clothes again. He scanned the room, noticing his roommate seemed to be fast asleep. Quietly, he made it to the bathroom to brush his teeth and clean his piercings so that he was ready for bed.

Meanwhile, Minho wasn't actually asleep. He woke up because he was thirsty and noticed Jisung still wasn't back yet. Naturally, this concerned him, so he decided to stay awake until he knew that Jisung was back. Only because he was curious. Just that.

Right.

But now, Minho knew that Jisung was here now, so he could let himself fall asleep.

🌙

A feeling of warmth poked at Minho's eyelids. When he opened them, he was immediately blinded by the sun, covering his eyes with his arm as he hissed. Damn fucking useless curtains. Nonetheless, Minho sat up, a black blob in the corner of his eye catching his attention. He looked towards the boy and saw that he was still asleep and softly snoring. Does he always sleep with his beanie on? I've never seen anybody do that. Minho stood up from his bed and stretched. He then started to get ready for school.

As Minho was washing his face, music abruptly sounded through the room making Minho almost choke on the water from the faucet. He immediately recognized the song as Gypsy Woman by Anarbor. He knew because he went through an emo phase in middle school too, but he doesn't like talking about it. Who does? Either way, he chuckled to himself as he turned the faucet off. Man, does this kid have a contrasting music taste.

As Minho patted his face dry, he heard the music turn off and loud groaning.

"Do you do this every morning?" Minho asked as he stepped out of the bathroom.

"Do you always annoy your roommates every time they wake up?" Jisung retaliated, voice muffled from his pillow.

"No, just you. There's nothing to do around here and you're amusing." Minho said as he took off his shirt to put a new one on.
