The two got ready, Jisung deciding to get dressed in the same room and got a jumpscare when Minho told him to get ready in the bathroom like he usually does with a quick panicked voice.

"Come on, you saw me in only my boxers a couple weeks ago. We're both guys anyways, right?" Yeah? Well I'm gay! That doesn't go for us! Minho internally huffed.

"Fine, whatever. Do your thing." Minho rolled his eyes and turned around, partly to give himself some privacy and partly to hide his blush. He pulled his shirt off, grabbing a more formal outfit. He felt stares on his back but when he turned around to shoot Jisung an unamused look, he was already turned away, his wings almost fully covering his image except for the lower half of his legs. Minho shook his head and turned back, no longer feeling the staring again.

Once they were done and all prettied up, Jisung had hid his wings and was wearing a leather jacket with silver rings adorning the zipper line and on the sides of his shoulders (a/n i'm picturing jeongin's leather jacket from the scars era). Underneath, he was wearing a Stranger Things T-shirt with cutouts on the shoulder blade area in case he were to need it and faded black ripped jeans. Then, they left the dorm, not forgetting to lock it behind themselves. They got into Minho's car, comfortable silence between them as they drove to the nearest McDonald's drive thru. They each got a 20 piece chicken nugget and an iced sweet tea because fuck it, it's Christmas break. On their drive to Minho's mom's house, Minho let Jisung search through his Spotify playlists to find something to play, him putting on a song called "Neon Roses", Minho's lips curling into a smile at the choice but was even more surprised to hear Jisung start to sing along to it.

"You can sing too?" Minho raised his eyebrows as he glanced at Jisung quickly with a smile.

"Kinda. Not often, though." Jisung shrugged, taking a sip of his sweet tea.

"You should often. You're talented, you have a nice voice." Minho said, not sparing a look at Jisung for reasons unknown to him but he smiled softly back anyways.

"Thank you. Speaking of talents, when will I get to see you dance?"

"Hmm.. I'd prefer never, but I guess I can show you when we get there." Hearing that, Jisung bounced happily in his seat but abruptly stopped, gasping and covering his mouth.

"What..?"

"I just remembered, they'll see my feathers! Oh god, how stupid can I be? I didn't even think of tha--" Minho cut Jisung off by placing a gentle hand on his thigh, petting it softly.

"Jisung. They're not gonna care, don't worry. They'll love you." Not as I do though, Minho's internal voice said but he shook the thought off, cringing at his cheesiness. But he guesses it was a known fact by now that he loved Jisung, anyways. He smiled when Jisung was visibly calmer, but he turned his face away from Minho, laying his head on his hand as his arm rested on the window.

For the rest of the drive, not much was said. They pulled into their destination's driveway, Minho locking Jisung in (earning a confused glance) so he could walk to the boy's door and open it for him, bowing.

"After you, Mylady." Minho joked and laughed when Jisung smacked him. Maybe he couldn't cheer the younger up but he could annoy him to get his mind off of things. They got to the front porch, Jisung nervously gnawing on his bottom lip. He stared up at the large house before him, occupying his mind with thoughts about how it looks inside or how Minho's room is decorated. Minho brought his hand forward to knock but before his fist could even make contact with the door, it opened, and all Jisung saw was a blur of the color brown beelining at Minho.

"Minho! I missed you so much!" A little girl no more than three feet tall with long sienna colored hair jumped onto Minho.

"Soojinnie, hi! How have you been?" Minho smiled, hugging Soojin.
