Currently, Minho was lying on his side, phone forgotten and parked on his nightstand as he gently stroked Jisung's feathers, the boy (or rather, bird) asleep and cuddled up against Minho's stomach. The warmth of the blankets around him and dim light shining from the lamp across the room tempting Minho to fall asleep too but he knew he shouldn't because Minho moves around in his sleep often and there was a high chance he would accidentally roll onto the guy and crush him. So, carefully, Minho sat up from his bed, trying his best not to bump into Jisung much to make sure he didn't wake up, and gently scooped him up with his hands. Slowly, he walked over to Jisung's bed and laid him down on it, turning the lamp off and returning to his own bed to get some sleep himself.

🌙

"Say it all

Just get it all off your chest

Shake it up, five hundred thousand times

Say no more, we don't believe anything

Teenage angst come all ages"

(song: Happy Ending by The Strokes)

Sighing, Minho heard Jisung's alarm go off and he sat up in bed. Turning to the younger, it seems that Jisung had shifted back at some point during the night, And it also seems that Jisung's alarm wasn't meant to wake him up, but to wake Minho up so that Minho could wake up Jisung. But seeing Jisung without his beanie finally seemed refreshing in a way, almost as if it made Minho feel better seeing Jisung finally be comfortable when he slept. Minho rubbed his eyes, walking over to Jisung to poke him softly on the cheek. Jisung stirred, batting Minho's hand away halfheartedly.

"Wake up, loser." Minho said, poking Jisung's cheek again.

"Stop poking my cheek!" Jisung groaned, sitting up.

"They're soft and squishy, though." Minho shrugged. Jisung reached over to turn his alarm off on the nightstand.

"You're weird." Jisung sighed, Minho sticking his tongue out at him immaturely. Minho brought some clothes to the bathroom to get changed into, leaving Jisung alone on his bed. Taking his phone off of the nightstand, he played a few games until Minho came out, Jisung taking his place in the bathroom to get dressed himself. When he finished, Minho actually waited this time, standing by the door on his phone. Jisung looked at him confusedly, Minho sensing this and explaining.

"I was gonna walk with you today. You know, just in case." Minho averted his eyes, lightly swirling the tip of his shoe on the floor while awaiting a response. Jisung raised an eyebrow. Is he flustered?

"Oh, alright then. Let's go." Jisung shrugged, grabbing his backpack, walking past Minho to open the door for him, bowing as he said 'ladies first' which, almost immediately, earned him a smack on the back of his head. Jisung yelped and pouted, Minho already off and down the hall. Jisung closed and locked the door behind him, bouncing over Minho to stay glued at his side as they walked to their first class together.

Arriving to the classroom, they sat in their usual seats, not speaking much to each other as per usual.

🌙

When it was time to leave, Minho and Jisung said a light goodbye to each other, parting ways. Minho was off to his next class, but when he got in, an unfamiliar girl was sitting in his seat. Sighing, he walked over to her. She had her head resting on her hand, staring out of the window, hand pushing up her cheek forcing her lips into a gentle pout. She was beautiful, and anyone could tell, really—but something seemed off. Minho shook off the feeling, tapping her shoulder to grab her attention. She jumped, but when she made eye contact with Minho she softly smiled, sending chills down Minho's back. Her eyes were dull and suspiciously dark with a slight blur.
