"I tried to be perfect, but nothin' was worth it

I don't believe it makes me real

I thought it'd be easy, but no one believes me

I meant all the things I said"

(song: Pieces by Sum 41)

Jisung's eyebrows furrowed as he felt something poke his cheek, over and over again.

"Come on, not again.." Jisung groaned sleepily.

"Yes, again. You never wake up with your alarm and it always leaves me to wake you up. So I'm going to do it however the hell I want until you get your own ass out of bed." Minho rolled his eyes, continuing to poke Jisung's cheek. The boy furrowed his eyebrows, trying to turn away from Minho and grabbed his wrist to stop his hand motions. But Minho rotated his wrist and grabbed onto Jisung's in return, tugging him up to sit straight.

"You're annoying." Jisung complained, rubbing his eyes.

"Whatever. Get ready, I don't want to be late." Oh, right. Minho is supposed to walk me today too, Jisung thought.

"Fine, fine." Jisung huffed, standing up to bring his clothes to the bathroom to change. Once he was finished, the two headed out together. They parted ways to report to their first classes.

When Minho entered his class, he saw that girl was in there, too. And sitting in his seat, again. Unbelievable, he thought.

Walking up to her, he wondered if he should just tap her shoulder again or if he should just ignore it. Settling for neither option, he walked up to her and cleared his throat loudly, smiling briefly when he saw her violently jump.

"Oh- my goodness, you scared me! Sorry about that." She smiled. "It's you again. It must be fate."

Fate my ass. Minho thought, stopping himself before he actually rolled his eyes and revealed how irritated he was at the moment.

"Haha. You're in my seat, again. Please move." Minho fake smiled but to everyone, even her, it looked fake. She forced one back.

"Oh, my bad." She got up to take the seat next to him but it was quickly taken by a familiar boy.

She bit back a scoff, turning to Minho and leaning down ear-level.

"I know more about you than you think I do. Han belongs to us and we will find him, with or without your help. And if you intervene, I'll kill you myself." She growled in his ear, leaning back up.

"Oh, is that so?" He batted his eyelashes. "How do you plan on doing that? Enlighten me."

"You underestimate me." She smiled.

"You underestimate me, too." Minho rested his head on his hands. She scoffed, walking away to find a new seat.

"Dude, what the hell are you doing?" The boy who sat in the seat next to Minho whispered urgently once the girl was out of hearing range.

"Because I'm not going to take shit from her." Minho grabbed a notebook and pencil out of his backpack, resting them on the desk.

"Oh yeah? And in what way would she be 'underestimating' you?" Changbin scoffed.

"Oh, come on. Are you underestimating me too?"

"No, just- You don't know her like I do or like Jisung does."

"Meh. She doesn't scare me. She's acting like she needs my help to find Jisung, and she can't get that information if she kills me. Let's see if she plays her cards right." Minho shrugged, tapping his pencil on his notebook.

"Jisung's boldness is rubbing off on you, huh.." Changbin sighed, praying that Minho won't get himself into much trouble. Just then, the professor called for the students' attention, and the class went on as usual, no word from the girl whose name Minho can't even remember.

Minho arrived back at the dorm, Jisung right by his side.

" 'M gonna take a shower." Jisung said, setting his bag down to grab clothes to bring with him. Minho hummed, sitting on his bed, leaning down to get his laptop from his backpack. Jisung, clothes in hand, turned back to Minho.

"Wanna join?" He smirked, but his offer was quickly turned down in the form of a pillow hitting the center of his face. He yelped.

"Stop throwing pillows at me every time you gay panic!" Jisung yelped, but another pillow was thrown at him, hitting his arms and making him drop his clothes.

"I'm not gay panicking! I'm just annoyed." Minho huffed, the redness of his ears definitely saying otherwise.

"Oh really? Cause—"

"Don't test me. I have another pillow." Minho opened his laptop like nothing happened.

"Damn, alright. See you in a few." Jisung picked up his clothes off of the floor and quickly slipped into the bathroom. As soon as Minho heard the water start, he sighed, rubbing his forehead, choosing to forget about what just happened and instead focus on the bigger problem at hand.

Then, he thought of an idea.

He didn't know if it'll work, or even be useful in any type of way, but it was worth a shot. Opening a new tab on his laptop, he searched through many websites and online stores, finding what he needed. This'll do, he thought. God I hope this works.
