I closed my eyes and took a deep breathe, I was obviously hallucinating. Nope. Izzie was still there. Shit.
"I said I know about you're plan" she said again, this time impatiently.
"I don't know what you're talking about", I replied in a small voice.
"Cut the shit Grey, I know that you and the Beta's son are planning on running away tonight during my wedding, and I want in."
My mouth hung open in shock. I couldn't help but stare at her, and for a second I saw a different Izzie. Her eyes showed something almost human. It was desperation. I felt sorry for her despite all she had done to me.
"I can hear your thoughts, and I don't need you to feel sorry for me, I'm still a bad bitch, I just need a way out of here" she snarled.
"What about your wedding?" I asked.
"Catch up Omega! I don't want to marry that guy. My dad is forcing me too for the future of the pack. Apparently forming alliances is more important than happiness."
"I'm really sorry Izz.." I started to say before she cut me off.
"Don't you dare say you're sorry" she barked. "I know you were ease dropping the other day amd heard me and my dad. I could smell you the minute I walked out of his office.
I decided to do some ease dropping of my own, so I tapped in to your fragile little mind, and that's how I found out about your plan."
"I'm sorry I was listening, I really didn't mean too. I just kinda walked up on it and picked up on the emotions." I replied.
"You apologize constantly and its infuriating " Izzie quipped.
"I'm sorry" I said again.
"If I didn't need you to help me escape this hell hole, I'd rip your throat out for being so submissive, but I do need you, so whats the exact plan?" she asked with an eye roll.
"I don't know if it's a good idea Izzie. It's going to be hard enough with just Phoenix and I. Your father will send every tracker in the South to find you, and I don't think Phoenix is going to go for it."
She glared at me for a second and then an eerie smile spread across her face and she said, "Well, I guess you're just going to have to convince lover boy that I have to go. Because if you don't I will tell my father and then you'll both be dead anyway."
"How do I know this isn't just one of your tricks Izzie? I asked.
"You don't." She replied. " Time is ticking, Grey. Either tell me the plan or I'm telling my father."
"Fine." I said.
I felt like I didn't really have a choice. Taking Izzie with us was a huge liability. Her father and the Alpha she was planning on leaving at the alter weren't going to just not look for her. This was going to end so bad.
I told Izzie I had to talk to Jackson, and I would let her know exactly what to do before the reception to welcome the guest started. She told me if I double crossed her, she would personally track me down and rip my throat out, and I knew she meant it.
So now Izzie is going with them 🤔? Do we trust her?
