Sage got out of the cab, and paid the cab's fare. She walked up the stairs, reaching for her apartment door and closed it once she got inside and released a sigh. She ran a hand through her dark locks and walked over to the bedroom after spending her second night in a row working at the club.

Eyes staring at the wall blankly, she debated with herself about the decision she made earlier. Two nights ago she accepted being a stripper and followed the rules inside as she denied and abolished her hook-ups outside the club's territory, however, she still needed more money.

She pulled out her sketch from the drawer in a need to vent her irritation, hoping to get a good night sleep this night, crossing out the overthinking mood. The side of her lips arched upwards as the hand that was holding her pencil started her elementary quiet work of art that has been on her mind lately.

As the sun beamed, Adrienne woke up with Freya sleeping soundlessly on her arm and hugging her stuffed giraffe.

She got up from the bed and pulled the blanket over her daughter and leaned down, planting a kiss on her golden hair then stepped outside the room. She yawned and stretched her arms as she went to the kitchen to make herself a cup of coffee and she realized how the house was quiet and muted to the death. Once the machine finished brewing the coffee, she grabbed the mug and poured down her dark liquid and stared outside the kitchen window with a soft wrinkle between her brows.

Flashback

Adrienne walked outside the room at 8:00 AM in the morning, stroking the back of her hair as she headed to the living room and saw the beauty with glossy golden locks that was cascading down her bare shoulders.

The golden locks owner was staring out the window at the early view, wearing her silver silk robe and exposing a bit of her right shoulder, holding the mug in her hand as a smile spread across her face when she sensed and felt the presence of the blue eyes staring at her from behind.

The goosebumps on the blonde's skin rose as the figure approached her slowly and sat behind her on the couch but only to brush her lips over the bare shoulder then goes up for the neck.

"I hate it when you leave me." said Adrienne, circling her arms around the blonde woman and both smiled.

"Clingy." she whispered then took a sip with her eyes still staring at the view.

Adrienne bit her lower lip to keep herself from smiling but she failed when the blonde looked over her shoulder, flashing her the usual pearly smile.

"What? You disagree with me? You're a clingy person, Aid."

"Says the girl who didn't want me to leave bed at night after our fourth round." she said with a chuckle and the blonde burst into laughter that echoed through the room.

"Okay, fair point." said the blonde as her laugh faded.

Adrienne stopped laughing as well and silence consumed them both for a minute and Adrienne enjoyed having her wife in her arms. She looked at the blonde who was smiling with her eyes glowing at the sight of the early sun. Adrienne broke the silence with her soft voice as she spoke into Amber's ear.

"Let's do it."

Amber's smile dropped and her face went stoic for a moment then she slowly placed the mug on the coffee table, tucking a golden strand behind her ear as she turned to face Adrienne.

A nervous smile appeared on her face. "Are you sure?"

Adrienne smiled gently at her and nodded. "Let's do it, Amber. Let's have a baby." She watched the sides of her mouth curl into a huge grin but then it dropped again as Amber looked down at the couch.
