Gina's jaw was dropping while standing next to Sage as both women were staring at the repaired walls. Sage was staring at the walls with a smile and Gina kept her mouth opened in flabbergast from the moment she entered Sage's apartment. Whenever she came by Sage's house, her eyes would always catch the deep holes on the wall and it always broke her heart for not having enough money to help her friend out, but now the holes were filled, repaired and looked clean. Five days ago, Adrienne brought the painter and his fellows and they started working for four days straight to finish repairing all the walls in the house as soon as possible.

"Gina? Gina!" She raised her voice enough to make the dark skinned woman turn to her, blinking repeatedly.

"What?"

"You're acting like you've never seen a wall." She chuckled.

"Well, truth is I've never seen your wall this clean before. It's brand new." Gina reached out and placed her hand on the fixed wall then turned to her friend. "Did you tell her to do this?"

"She offered and I refused at first, but she kept insisting so I had no other choice. She would feel guilty after seeing my broken house and not helping me, that's why I said yes. I really didn't wanna approve, G."

Gina nodded understandingly, looking down then met Sage's eyes. "I like Dapper. She seems caring," Sage smiled warmly at her friend. "and you need her, Sage." Gina sighed happily and a grin drew on her face. "So, when do we get to paint your walls, missy?"

"Tomorrow. We will go choose the color then come back here. She said she will bring a few people with her but I don't who."

"I'll bring Marcus. We could use the extra help but... Damn woman!" She laughed with her. "You're gonna get a new house, Sage! How cool is that? At least now you'll focus on paying your rent."

"Yeah, I couldn't be more grateful for all the things she does for me." She said softly to herself in a thankful tone.

Gina smiled at her and took her hands. "Come on now, we've got some work to do before tomorrow."

...

Adrienne bent down on her knees while grabbing the small sneakers from the floor and put them on her little princess's feet who was sitting on the bed smiling since she heard the news about helping Sage 'color' her house.

"Can I color it red?" she said looking down at her mom.

Adrienne chuckled while lacing her shoes. "I don't think she will color it red, princess. Maybe other colors."

"But I love red, mommy."

She chuckled again as she stood up. "She does too, it's her favorite color but she will color one of the rooms light pink. You love pink right? It's like your fairy dress in the closet that I bought for you last year, remember?"

Freya nodded at her and held her mother's hand as they headed downstairs till they reached the door. Hanna saw them from her window car and waved at Freya who waved back at her.

"Aunt Hanna will color with us too. It's like a coloring party." She said to Freya before she turned to Hanna. "Follow my car, Han."

"Alright you got it, sis. Whoo!" she said excitedly.

Adrienne glanced at Hanna and noticed her outfit wasn't appropriate for today's job, so she opened the car door and pointed at the ground outside the car. Hanna frowned at her in confusion but obliged.

"What? I wasn't that loud. I'm just excited."

"It's not about that. Your clothes won't fit today. We're painting the walls. You need to wear something more casual and comfortable; you're wearing a blouse and a skirt and that won't do, you'll ruin them."
