Sage turned around with her body on the bed, with a soft hum escaping her lips as a smile spread across them. Her smile disappeared though when her hands skimmed over the spot next to her on the bed and found it empty.

Her eyelids opened slowly, letting them take their time to adjust the sunlight entering her room in the morning, then she heard a voice outside her room, and her smile came back on the recognition. She sat up straight on the bed, rubbing her drowsy eyes and stretched her body, releasing a yawn. Adrienne walked back inside the room wearing her white tank top and her black jeans with the black leather jacket in her hands. For the first time Sage noticed her toned arms, lean but muscular. Her eyes roamed down a little on her stomach, seeing her abs prominent through her tank top and she remembered Gina's talk about being sexually intimate with Adrienne. The thought caused her butterflies and it turned her on.

"I thought you left." said Sage, rubbing her eyes again.

Adrienne shook her head and sat across from her on the bed. "No, couldn't leave you without saying good morning." She grabbed her chin and met her eyes with a sparkle in her own blue eyes. "So, good morning." She closed the distance between them, giving her a chaste kiss and Sage grinned during the kiss. Adrienne pulled back and stroked her hair away from her face. "You're still sleepy." She chuckled at Sage who pouted in return.

"Yeah and I need to get to work in two hours." She whined cupping Adrienne's face and pecked her lips. "I just want to stay in bed."

"You're newly bought bed." said Adrienne jokingly, earning a chuckle from Sage.

"Which is good, warm, comfy and irresistible."

She sighed as she laid back on the bed, closing her eyes and felt a shadow blocking the sunlight away from her face. She opened her eyes and looked up, watching Adrienne smirking at her before leaning down and softly captured her lips in her own. Sage closed her eyes and let her arms circle themselves around her neck and pull her down to her more eagerly.

Adrienne pulled back smiling tenderly at her and kissed her forehead. "Since I already said my morning to you, I have to go and get Freya from my parents'." Sage nodded at her, caressing the back of her hair. "I'll call you later." She kissed her lips again before getting off of her and rolling outside the bed, wearing her leather jacket as she bid her goodbye.

............................................

Sage walked outside the kitchen with the tray in her hands and went over to a table at the corner where a family was sitting together having breakfast. She smiled at them while serving down the plates, then took the tray and headed back to the kitchen.

Gina spotted Sage smiling at herself, holding her drink in her hand and staring at nothing as she daydreamed.

"What're you thinking about here?"

Sage turned to her with a smile. "Adrienne spent the night with me last night," She saw Gina open her mouth to say something, but she cut her off. "No we didn't have sex." she said with a sigh. "Even though I want to. We were about to once... I think. But Jeff knocked on my door that day interrupting us."

"Ugh! Jeff! That jackass! I hate him."

"You're not alone." Her eyes lit up suddenly when she recalled what Adrienne did that day. "I think Adrienne scared him." She chuckled and Gina's eyes went wide.

"Did they meet?"

"Yeah at my doorstep. He was threatening about throwing me out of the building, and out of nowhere Adrienne came to my rescue. You should've seen her, Gina. She was so protective."

Gina smiled at her. "What about the rent? Will Adrienne help you?"

"I told her not to. I don't wanna keep using her. It's not right. I'll pay the rent on my own."
