"What? No." I chuckled nervously and let go of his hand as I moved back a little. "I just thought it would be nice doing something else together. Now that I have my period and will have it for the next 5 days, we could go for walks or just do something else. So we don't lose track." I hope he fell for that.

"Hmm hmm." He said and pouted his lips while looking at me with a little squeezed eyes. He was not falling for that. What did I think? "So you basically want us to be a couple? Have sex, watch TV, go for walks and hang out." He tilted his head to the side and waited for me to answer.

"No, we still have rules. Couples do not have rules." I argued back.

"I don't want to add anything else. We already see each other four times a week. It's enough. We can use your period time as a break. Build up new energy so we don't get tired of each other." He said and I felt like if I accepted this, I would not be moving further. I needed to push him.

"Are you getting tired of me?" I asked with a sad face.

"That's not what I said. Just to prevent it, I think we should just not see each other until your period is over. It will be good for both of us."

"I don't want to do that." I said firmly and looked deep into his eyes. "We always do everything your way and you never listen to me. I just want this one thing. I am not asking you to marry me." He opened his mouth to say something but closed it again. He was surprised. We sat in silence like this for a minute.

"We can watch one thing after sex. On Tuesdays." If I had asked him this three weeks ago, he wouldn't care at all and say no. Inside my head, I did a victory dance. He wouldn't want to spend more than 30 minutes and today he had been here for hours all without having sex. And agreed to watch movies with me.

"Deal." I said and put my hand in front of him to shake it. He shook it and then got up. I looked at him confused.

"Where are you going?"

"Home."

"What? Why?" I got up from the couch as well.

"Because you have your period, its Thursday and I have already been here long enough." He argued and grabbed his phone from the table.

"But you just said you'll watch Jeffrey Dahmer with me." I said again sulking.

"I just said that to make you stop crying."

"That's so mean. At least watch one episode with me and then you can leave." I said and went closer to him and put my hand on his forearm.

"I can't. I need to go now." He said and put his hand on top of mine.

"Please, Gabriel. I will start crying again if you go." I said and wrapped my arms around his waist. He just stood still without holding me then slowly put one hand on my hip.

"Laura." He said to make me let go of him, but I just tightened my grip.

"Just today and then we will be back on schedule from next week. You don't have to come Saturday if you stay now." I said with my head buried in his neck. He was contemplating whether he should go or not, leaving me just to hug him like this.

"Fine." He said and I grabbed his face with my hands instead and gave him a big kiss. We walked back to the couch, and I pressed play. I was getting hungry too, so I walked over and took the plate with my lasagna and brought it to the couch table. He didn't like to eat on beds, couches, or anywhere that was not a dining table so he was eyeing me with his eyebrows frowned.

"It's my house. I can do what I want to." I said and took a bite. It tasted so good. I was really surprised; I don't even know why. I knew that he was really good at cooking, but this was next-level good. Probably the best lasagna I had ever tried. I didn't want to boost his ego, so I didn't say anything.
