Chapter 12: Alone

Vanessa POV

I woke up in Jason's arms as we lied down on the bed. I looked up to see his beautiful face, peacefully asleep. I took in all his gorgeous features, carefully tracing my fingers over his jawline. He began to giggle a bit, "That tickles you know."

"Sorry." I blushed, placing my hand on his torso.

He lifted his head and pecked my forehead, "Don't worry about it, sweetheart."

We lied there in silence. Not an awkward silence but a peaceful silence, until it was ruined by Jason's phone ringing. He groaned and answered in a raspy morning voice, "What?"

"Get up. Alex is here talking to Jacob in the other room." I heard Ryan say over the phone, and felt Jason's body tense up.

"Alright, I'll be right down." He said, getting up. He hung up and grabbed his tank top from the foot of the bed.

"Jason, where are you going?" I asked, already knowing the answer.

"To Jacob's room. We need to... ughm... discuss some things." He answered.

"Can I come?" I asked, scrunching up my eyebrows.

"No, you need to stay up here. I'll be back, I promise." He said, pecking my forehead and headed out the door.

I groaned and covered my face in my pillow. Might as well go back to sleep, right?

Jason's POV

Once I heard Ryan say Alex was here, I didn't want to do anything more than to blow the motherfucker's head off.

I firmly knocked on Jacob's door, Gabriel answering.

"Where is he?" I asked, anger taking over.

"Balcony," he answered, "he's with the east coast." He whispered the last part.

"The east coast?" I asked.

"It's the new gang Alex created after he left north." He replied, " He has Michael Lee, Xavier Grand, Nicholas Davidson, and Colin Smith."

Just hearing his name made me angrier.

"Who does Jacob have out there with him?" I asked through clenched teeth.

"Kian, Taylor, Cameron and Luke," he said, "they don't know I'm here. And they don't know that Ryan, Carter, Matthew and I are hiding out in here."

"Why are you guys hiding in here?" I asked.

"We don't know what the hell Alex is capable of. He knows too much and can easily murder the guys out there." He whisper shouted.

I rolled my eyes and replied, "Well go hide, I'm about to go out there,"

He nodded and I began walking out to the balcony.

"You obviously don't understand, idiot. I need-," Alex was talking but quickly changed the subject and said, "Nice to see you have joined us, baby brother."

"Shut the fuck up, bastard and tell me why you're here with you're petty ass 'gang'." I replied.

"I'm just here to bust your balls, McCann." He chuckled, coldly.

"I'm not joking. Answer the fucking question." I said, sternly.

"Just thought I'd introduce you to an old friend of mine. You remember Colin, right Jasey?" He smirked.

"Don't fucking call me that again." I growled.

"I see the nickname still pisses you off" he chuckled.

"Shut the fuck up or-" I began to say but he cut me off.

"Or what?" He challenged.

"I'll blow your head off when you least expect it." I said, clutching the gun in my jeans.

I saw a wave of fear wash over him and that's his biggest weakness.

I smirked my famous McCann smirk and watched him and his 'gang' leave.

Once they shut the door, I turned to Jacob and asked, "What the hell was he talking about before I got here and saved your ass?"

"Vanessa." He replied, his eyes bloodshot.

"What?" I asked, beyond dumbfounded by his answer.

"They're out to get Vanessa... For Derek."

Omfg sorry guys for the cliffhanger but I just had to do it !!!!! I'm working on the next chapter because it's really all I can do . I freaking sprained my ankle at school today ! So expect a good update maybe tonight or tomorrow morning
