Cove and Lainey are sitting on her bed, kicking their legs and giggling about this new girl Lainey met in Calculus I.

"Guys, you don't understand, she was sweet, she was funny, but a total badass." Lainey says amusedly with her eyes going wide.

"Lainey, girl if you don't shoot your shot-" Cove begins before being cut off by Lainey's screech,

"No! I can't do that! What if she thinks I'm a total creepy bitch!?"

"YOLO, babe." Cove responds and we all giggle.

While they're talking, I finish throwing on a pair of black sweatpants with a long sleeved, cream shirt, and throw my hair into a small ponytail.

"So, Avalon..." Cove begins and I slowly turn to look at her, seeing the smirk plastered on her face.

"What's up." I smile, trying to hide my nervousness. I know what she's about to ask. What the hell am I supposed to say: I went on the worst- first date- possible with the schools biggest fuck boy, but ended up ditching him and playing doctor with my english partner instead? Yeah, I'll pass.

"Oh shut up, bitch, you know exactly what I'm about to say..." Cove shouts pointing a finger at me. Cove is like a pit bull, she can go from level 1 to 100 real fast, and I would be lying if I didn't say she was quite terrifying.

A small huff makes it's way out while I'm making my way onto the bed to join them.

"What's going on...?" Lainey looks up at me, her lips curving into a grin and Cove fills her in. "Little Missy, tried sneaking past me last night, all dressed up, looking sexy as ever and tried to cover it up as going to 'nothing' for 'no one'." Cove says accusingly, readjusting her position on the bed so we can all fit more comfortably.

Lainey's eyebrows curve up, and now they're both staring at me, waiting for me to spill.

Fuck.

"Go on..." Cove begins, putting out her hand to show that she's 'giving me the floor', "We're waiting."

I roll my eyes one more time and huff, finally surrendering.

After about four minutes of filling them in- but leaving out most details concerning Oliver- their eyes and open wide with shock and disgust.

"What the hell? I can't believe he said that!" Lainey comments and Cove nods her head in agreement.

"Wait, Cameron Beckett?" Cove stops, eyes going wide.

"Yeah, you know him?" I ask.

"A little bit, we went to high school together but he was always popular; therefor, we never crossed paths. But anyways, one of his little boy toys tried getting it on with me the other day, but I wasn't buying it." Cove responds, looking down at her hands with almost a look of sadness?
