Y/N x Avengers
Tony's POV
Everything happened so fast I don't even recall it.
Fury sent us on a mission to take down an abandoned hydra base and see what's e could find.
The whole team went just in case there was an activity around the area.
The jet landed and we moved inside, it was obvious there was no activity around the area so we split up. Every avengers took a separate part of the base.
I saw y/n go east wards so I let her be. I walked around the middle bumping into Nat on the way.
"So, you think there's anything here?" She asks me
"Probably not Nat, there's no signs of life here from what we can see and anyways if their was-
I was interrupted by a gun shot towards the side y/n was. Y/N is only 17 and even thought she's grown up, I still want to make sure she's ok. I would never forgive myself otherwise.
Me and Nat looked at each-other before we ,calmly and armed, turned the corner.
Y/N was sitting by a wall, breathing heavily. There as no signs of anyone around her so I quickly made my way towards her.
"Hey kid you alright?" I ask her.
She doesn't look at me and instead stares straight ahead, mumbling something.
"He....kill.....all.....you.....must......leave" is what I make out.
I'm instantly spooked and turn to Nat, she looks at me wide her eyes wide. We agree to call the mission off and get y/n back to the quintet to figure out what was wrong.
I told Nat to go ahead as I helped y/n stand up and I wrap my arm around her back to she doesn't fall.
"Tony?" She suddenly asks
"Kid?"
"I saw something, someone"
"Kid don't worry when we get home we will-
"No Tony I'm so afraid" she tells me.
I look down at her and see she is shaking. Whatever she saw must have been bad.
"Y/N you gotta tell me now what you saw?"
"This magic girl, she places awful memories in my mind that made me think you were all dead. It was so real Tony, you were lying on the floor and you all started blaming me for your deaths and I just couldn't take it"
I don't really know what to say but we've reached the jet now. I rub her back in comfort as Clint runs down to help bring her up.
She suddenly releases from Clint's grip and sits down like nothing happened. The action confused me but she might just be wanting to forget about what happened.
She states straight ahead again and this time I'm worried. I look over to Wanda and ask her to look in her mind.
Wanda uses her powers and suddenly screamed, waking whoever fell asleep.
"What did you see?" I asked her.
"There's someone in her head!! He's telling her to kill us and she's refusing, shes going to crack any minute"
"What are we gonna do?" Steve says
"We need to knock her out" Clint says
"We can't knock out a seventeen year old that's illegal"
"Well it's either that or she's hydras"
We settle on knocking her out but she didn't like that idea. She immediately looked Clint in the eye and said
"No, he doesn't want that"
"What the hell" Clint states, a confused expression written on his face.
She starts to March over to him, this is what Wanda was talking about. She went to attack him but Steve came up behind and knocked her out with the instructions manual for the jet.
"Sorry dude, but she was going to kill you" Steve says.
We land to jet and y/n is taken to a secure place where if she wakes up and she's still under control she won't hurt anyone. But if she's herself she doesn't wake up panicked.
She wakes up a couples hours later and appears to be in her normal state. Me and Bruce come downstairs as she gets up.
"Good evening sweetheart" I joke as I walk over to her.
"Wha"
"You went a bit crazy on us" Bruce tells her.
"Sorry" she says sheepishly
"Don't be sorry kid, it's just nice to have YOU back" I say
"It's nice to have me back too"
